No, there's more. Rome was an empire. Egypt was (and is) a country.

Only a small certain parts of the bible is true; the rest of the bible is either exaggerated or simply not true.
What is amazing is how some people claim that the entire bible is true and to go further than that claim is how some claim that it is true because god said so and it is mentioned in the bible. This is called circular reasoning.
What some people fail to realize is that parts of the bible are very obscured such as all of Lev:

Babylon was a great empire that was overthrown by a Persian named Cyrus, historical and archaeological evidence agrees with the Biblical event, down to just how this happened. Herod was a King around the time if Jesus's birth, he was appointed King by Rome. Jerusalem destroyed by Romans, just as Jesus prophesied. John exiled to Patmos, just as said in Bible. Many, many more things which can be verified by historical or archaological records.

Everything in the Bible is true, it is Gods Holy word, but what gets me is you believe in Jerusalem, how can an atheist believie in Jerusalem, the most influential religious city in the world, Jews, Christians, Muslims all claim Jerusalem and yet you will claim from the Bible it is a real city, you can't be an atheist and believe that, Jerusaleum is very spiritual place, my heart burns when I am there, I can feel Gods presence when I am there. I believe you are searching, seeking for the truth, it is Jesus Christ, he died for your sins on the cross, and mine, he came in the flesh and was crucified on a cross at calvery to shed his blood for all mankind, In the book of Hebrews it says that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. He was perfect, sinless, and he arose from the grave to open the door of salvation to all mankind, everyone, he washed away all sins past present and future all at one, he could because he was without sin. You can become a Christian right now, will you be saved today, will you except his free gift, just say this simple prayer, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Your searching is over, read your bible, find a church and seek the Lord, may his grace and mercy always find you in times of need. Amen. If you have any questions send me an email.

Wow.
Considering all the information that has been archaeologically verified, from the existence of Jerico to the kingship of David up through the historical accounts in the New Testament of the various Roman rulers and subordinates in the first century AD, you really reflect poorly on the intellectual quality of athiests.
Are you sure you want to represent such a diverse group with such narrow thinking?
I know. Go ahead and give me my thumbs down. It's just something you have to do.

Oh, come on, oh wise one; I'm sure you watch the news and documentaries, too, of the many things world-wide found to coincide with Biblical truths. And though you hate this, I'm going to say it; "A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not; but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth."
"Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge". Prov.14:6,7
You know why most atheists hate the Bible? You cannot stand against our God, you will fall...please have a good day and empty your heart of doubts and lies and seek truth.

Your life would not be long enough to provide you the details of the truth contained in God's word. But you go on an continue to believe your "own truth" you have already made up your mind, at least at this point in your life.

Every word. Places, science, prophecy. IT stated the earth was round before science knew it. Explains evaporation cycle before men knew. Many such examples of how science had to catch up with God's word. You can use the bible as a map to find things long lost and science has. IT IS GOD'S PERFECT WORD

My answer:
All of it.
The Scriptures are 100% from the mouth & heart of God. Therefore all of it is true. You either believe the message of the cross or else perish for all eternity.
The choice is yours to make in the here and now while you still have time.
