Yeah...you pretty much have to trash everything that Biology and Genetics have done in the last say 100 years if you eliminate evolution.
And like I said in my answer, they have as big of issues with anyone that says the Earth isn't 6-10,000 years old. Which pretty much covers everything past the Dark Ages and a lot of what the Greeks did.

What medical advances have come from evolutionary biology? A Question with a question. If there have been relevant advances in medicine due to scientific exploration of evolutionary biology then I think that person should be given a thorough explanation of how the drug or technique the doctor is going to use on that person went from bench to bedside, including the contributions of the evolutionary biologists who made it possible. Then let the non-believer decide if they still want the treatment given that they understand how the treatment came about.

In the fossil records, there are no fossils which show a gradual progression or 'evolution' of animals. - You are assuming that all fossils have been found or that there are fossils out there that show that progression in detail. That does not mean that what has been proven is false. All of a sudden, some fossils appear out of no where. - Again, you are assuming that all information is available. Of all the thousands of animals, insects, living species in the world, science claims we all evolved over billions of years into the complex systems today. Impossible to prove, - No, it has been proven, you need to read something other than fundie captions. because science NEEDS an answer. - No it doesn't, fundies need answers, scientists need questions. Things did not magically appear, no matter how great it sounds. - Yet that is exactly what fundies believe. Too many scientists disagree with each other - That is the precess of science. Fundies smile and nod and accept what is presented before then as long as it fits their paradigm. 1. The complexity of living systems could never evolve by chance - but then brain dead fundies are the only ones who use the word chance and consider things happened that way. they had to be designed and created - Your opinion from ignorance, nothing else. A system that is irreducibly complex - And no one has yet to find one, it has been dis-proven in science and in the court for decades. But evidence for macro-evolution, changes transcending species, is conspicuous by its absence. - It has been observed, documented, tested and proven, again you need to read something other than fundie captions. To prove the possibility of anything, science must be able to reproduce exact original conditions. - So in other words no crime could ever be solved unless the exact situation is repeated. If I put on rose-colored glasses, I will always see red. - And that is exactly what Ken Ham and obviously your, do. None of these scenarios is particularly comfortable - Thankfully intelligence, science and reality are not concerned with your comfort. We see no evidence that evolution is randomly adding 250,000 neurons to each child born today, so that explanation is hard to swallow. - but you ignore, or obviously do not know about, the MYH16 mutation of muscle protien that allowed larger craniums to exist. There is that science/intelligence thing. What sort of point mutation would occur in a DNA molecule that would suddenly create billions of new neurons and wire them correctly?* The current theory of evolution does not predict how this could happen. - No, the current theory of evolution PROVES how it happens, again stay away from those fundie captions. We claim that God created the Universe (time & space), -- Yes, but you have NEVER proven in any manner that a deity exists. You just "say" one exists because you need it for your paradigm. then we must believe that He cannot be bound by it. - You can "believe" anything you want, but to date ALL of it is nothing more than your imagination. I can go ahead and research and read about evolution and try to make sense of it - You should because obviously you haven't.

Here's the thing. I don't know any rational Christian, Muslim, Jew, Pagan, Taoist, etc, that denies micro-evolution. The Peppered Moth phenomenon is well-known and well-documented. Living things adapt to their surroundings, and the process of natural selection causes some traits to become more dominant than others in non-sentient species. That is a fairly simple concept and a well-known fact of life. And the advances in science that you mention here without citation (which would strengthen your point, btw) are products of our observation of micro-evolution.
Where we come to loggerheads is the concept of macro-evolution. The Peppered Moth displayed a trend toward darkening. It did not, however, display a trend toward growing fingers, or even of changing it's behavior in simple ways, such as burrowing.
No one who has bothered to investigate the issue disputes that the various species of primate are genetically similar to humans. The dispute lies in how that came to be. Saying that people evolved from primates, which evolved from amphibians (who are genetically dissimilar, but we won't dig into that at the moment) simply because they are chemically structured in a similar way is a matter of conjecture, pure and simple. And as a matter of scientific conjecture it has merit, but has to stand up to the same criteria as any other conjecture. If it is, in fact, the way things happen, then there should either be evidence that it is still in progress, or there should be compelling evidence that some outside force has stopped the process.
There is no reason that evolution can't be taught in schools right along side of string theory, general relativity, quantum gravity, and other fascinating attempts to explain the world around us. But bear in mind that we also used to teach abiogenesis as accepted scientific fact.

Evolution is a theory. A theory presented by man. It's neither "good" nor "evil". It's just an attempt to understand something in nature.
Same with science.
We ALL need to focus on the REAL issues. The important ones. And leave the "small stuff" to the small minds.

No. Evolution is a part of the creation package, however the evolution theory is a theory. I believe in the Bible record on what happened in the beginning. God is the only eyewitness on what was going on. Everything else is hypothesis. I believe that the Bible is reliable and true Word of God. Jesus confirmed the Genesis record.

I don't think that evolution is of the Devil. I think that there are people who have misunderstood evolution and turned it into god. Even scientists who believe in macro-evolution, which I do not, believe that God is the Creator. I believe that micro-evolution is good science. I don't see any credible evidence for macro-evolution. One other thing. Evolution does not explain the origins of space, time, life, stars and planets. People who say that it was the Big Bang that started everything. I say, Who started the Big Bang? Any logical scientist will tell you that God must exist because the Big Bang could not have begun by itself. It makes no sense. Cause and effect. For every effect there must be a cause. A being like God does not need a cause. He transcends all limitations.

First of all, no one should be treated as a second class citizen because of their belief system.
Just like Galileo's heretical heliocentric "theory", eventually the proof will overwhelm everyone and evolution will be accepted by all. It will just take longer with some people than others.

evolution my friend is all theory and so is most of science its all theories that havent been proven like the big bang and the humans were once apes its all nonesense...i like science im not saying science is all nonsense just that bit were they try to find out how the earth was created and how we came.....God put us here to test us and we will die and he created earth and everything in itt..
Islam had known scientific discoveries that we a just discovering in the 21st century...in the quran 1400years ago it tells those who read it bout many things on earth that science is just findin know...do u know why..becasause the quran is the word of godd One of them is that the salt water and fresh water have a barrier between them and they do not trangress...in the quran scientists just dicvoered recently...

evolution is a fact and creation is not, it's just that simple. evolution can be witnessed with bacterial resistant to treatments. America has the embarrassment of being one of the few western nations to be still debating this crap
we're doomed
