Why is it that non-believers of God constantly come up here and put down Christians, and put down God, and always have something negative to say about it?????
But on the other hand those "non-believers" get offended if someone were to question them about why they do not believe in God!
Great......You can believe in any religion that you please!!!!That is your right!!!
But why try and put down those that are believers of God??????
Faith is "Believing without seeing"!!!!
For those who want to know.....I am a believer in God, and I know that he is real even though some may not believe!!!
OK, see I believe, but that is me!!
You may be different....That is OK, believe what you may, but stop putting down people that believe in God!!!
You know......You had to get in this world someway......

You said "stop putting down people that believe in God!!!"

Well why don't you and your fellow 'believers' stop putting down people that don't believe in God, and constantly trying to interfere in their lives?

You appear to be hysterically delusionally paranoid.

It seems you need a Bex, a cup of tea, and a good lie down.

For the same reason you put down now believers at the end of your question. I was thinking maybe you were a sane christian who was tolerant but then you had to make a liar out of yourself.

The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.
So we must constantly defend it from those who would remove it.

Why are Christians so afraid of criticism? Is your belief that weak?

Atheists often challenge the theist to prove God’s existence only within the confines of science.
Science has served humanity well. Through it, we have discovered countless natural laws of the universe and use that knowledge to make our lives easier in every area of our existence. But to limit a theist's proofs to the confines of what the atheist demands is terribly one-sided. To a Christian, there are experiences that science and logic cannot explain. The atheist needs to recognize that we have experiences that are life-changing. No mere psychological set of theories explains the changes in our lives. So please, don't mock them. Can science nail down all that exists in mind, body, and soul? No. Can it quantify the beauty of a sunset, the cooing of a baby, or the love of a man and a woman? Science and logic have served us well, but they are not the ultimate truth to all things.
Of course, that does not mean we ignore science. In fact, we use it in our proofs for God. But to limit the playing field to your set of rules is an improper way to start. It is mostly an attempt to initiate control and keep command of the conversation by setting the ground rules according to your criteria.

Though an atheist may not accept biblical evidence as support for God's existence, it does not negate the fact that the Bible is evidence. Whether or not the atheist wants to accept it is another matter.
Name-calling and insults.
Of course, this is obvious. I heard it said once that the man who strikes first admits his arguments have run out. In some of the discussions I've had with atheists, when I've made a valid point in logic, I have been insulted. To call someone a name is to attack the person and not the issue, and it closes the door to true discussion.
Condescension
This is the most common of all mistakes I've encountered with atheists. I've been told by atheists that I'm an idiot for believing God and that if I were truly intelligent, I'd abandon my anachronistic thinking, etc. These comments do nothing to further discussion.
Straw-man argumentation
Sometimes atheists will construct an argument against Christianity that does not reflect a true Christian position. For example, one atheist stated that the Trinity was illogical because three gods could not be one God. I had to correct him and show him that the Trinity is the doctrine that there is only one God in three persons, not three gods.

Other straw-man arguments deal with persons who claim to be Christians and act in an unchristian manner. A typical example is the white supremacist, who claims to be a Christian. When he does something which is against the Bible, his bad example is used to label all Christians.

I'm never offended by questions about my feelings in religious matters.

read your bible, you'll see not only why most of us don't believe, but also why.

I insult him like i do every other mass murderer, probably a bit more strictly because of the numbers

do you speak well of Jeff Dalmer? Ted Bundy?

god to me is them to the power of 1000000

there's no way i can say ANYTHING good about him.

as for believers...that's fine by me i honestly don't care what you believe...but it doesn't stop there does it?

you want in public school to unleash your poisons on my son

you want in our government to force your "faith based" agenda on everyone

you come to my door one every 3 weeks or so to try to convert me

you put "gods" name...to me...the name of a vile, murdering, bloodthirsty tyrant on my money!

you expect niceness?

we try very hard to be civil, but given this small glimpse into the truth, perhaps you can understand some venom you may witness here.

Maybe we're sometimes offended by a post here, but at least we don't allow ourselves to become offended to the point of reporting all the believers' accounts into deletion.

Oh, and I 'got here' because my parents did the nasty on the right night.

Because deep down I suspect that most of them are waiting for someone to prove to them that God exists. I believe that all humans have, somewhere in their psyche an inate knowledge that God exists but some are either too cynical or self obsessed to acknowledge it. ALL human society, throughout history have had some sort of God concept, even if it is not what we would commonly associate with God. Even primitive man had myths and legends that centre aroung God like beings. Why, because God, as our Father is encoded in our genes, just like our earthly parents are.

Because believers consistently legislate their morality. Because they push to have mythology and "pseudo-science" taught as alternatives to science in public schools.

You are welcome to believe in whatever you wish as long as you don't push or legislate it. But remember believing in Santa does not make him real.

Edit:
Also, it would be best not to allow your beliefs to deny reality. There are way too many people here who "believe" that faith is the equivalent of science and that they are both a matter of opinion.
