How they say do not judge, but they judge. Saying so many things but meaning something else. Look into your hearts people and tell yourselves. "DO I JUDGE people upon how they live their lives?" So manyreligions do. Please dont respond with some crap involving praying for me or that it is a stupid question...Why deny the question when it still stands
? Why get angry at the truth? Why judge? Why do they say one thing and mean another? They say they are reaching out to people, but they are ripping their hearts out and flooding their brains.

Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great. surah 4:34.. it means you can beat a woman if she doesnt obey her husband? what does mean this verse for the islam?

im not looking for a religious book, but something that purely deals with whether or not there is consciousness after death, whether it is possible for a soul to separate from its body and still exist after death- or is death the end

I thought of this symbol, and it had just popped into my head from nowhere so I was wondering if it meant anything. The symbol I'm referring to is an isoscoles triangle with two of it's sides only slightly longer than the other one. It's two longer lines meet to form a point that points directly downward. It's sides are all slightly concave, and at the center of each line is a small circle that is hovering slightly above the line. Does this mean anything to you?

In some churches, the husband and wife are both ordained ministers. Both equally share all the duties, including visitations, preaching, leadership, and administrative duties.

Would you attend a church where both the husband and wife are co-pastors?

If you believe that Jesus christ died for your sins is that enough,

Its a critical question, because if it is then every ancillary belief is irrelevant, that means that catholics, Jws, Mormons, protestants are all saved.

the application is always different but the details must be irrelevant any ideas,

I know we've all heard this little thing a few times too many, but what do you think about it? I think that would be a good thing if true; war wouldn't exist without religion.

I have been studying Wicca for the past 3 years. I first heard of it in a magazine I was reading and it just competely drew me in. I was 14 then (17 now). My family supports me, well my mom's side does... All that I have learned has been through many, many hours pouring over what few books I could find and what internet sources I felt were crediable. I have been trying my hardest to find a teacher or another more knowlegable person of the craft, but to no avail. I would very much like to find someone near me, or even a coven (although I do kind of like the solitary life, but it does get a tad lonely). Any suggestions would be very much appreciated! :D I would even be extrodinarily happy if my teacher was only over the phone or internet.

There is much antagonism in the world today between the two camps of Christianity and Atheism, and it is reflected in miniature here on R&S. There are, however, two wonderful persons who show to me that both groups have far more in common than they do in differences.

I present for your consideration Ramjet and Thrice Baked.

Ramjet is a Christian, Thrice is an Atheist, yet both have the common qualities that make for greater good in this world of ours. Both are compassionate, intelligent, well-spoken, have wonderful senses of humour, and look for the best in any situation. Both are also my friends and have put up with my immaturity and patience-trying times. I love them both and know that they are one of the main reasons people are attracted to R&S.

A Christian and an Atheist, and both of them shining, outstanding examples that I think we should emulate. Their example is inspiring.

Let's show them our love and appreciation, shall we?

I currently teach college English. I love my job, but getting a full-time position is damn near impossible. So, I teach six classes, and I am considered part-time (adjunct). My paychecks are inconsistent and not guaranteed. I get stressed out and worn down easily, but I truly love being in the classroom.

I've been considering trying to get into the counseling/advising realm. But I'm being told more education is the key. But I'm in debt up to my eyeballs, I have a wedding to pay for, and I'm tired of planning my life when I'm already on the verge of 30.

I'd finally like to be in a position to pay off my debt with REGULAR paychecks. But everything I apply for jobs, people tell me I'm overeducated.

What the hell do I do?
