Me and my spirts are equals, I don't need to bow to them to get them to help-- friendly dialogue is enough for me. But to each their own, all religions and people have their different types of prayer.

But, who do you pray to (or speak to) and why?

I mean what would "creation" have been like if God didn't create the Devil? I mean obviously an all knowing god knew the outcome, he even knows that he will win in the end(See Revelations) But was he just really bored and wanted a nemesis? Can anyone explain the logic?

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things

What an intolerant egotistical god, love me or burn in hell !!! Any how, knowing that the bible has been altered, changed, edited and added to over the years [and this has been proved ] would that not make all said believers of the bible guilty of not honouring the true word of god and therefore all end up in hell ?????

If our religious leaders keep tickling our ears with "touchy feely" preaching ? If they are too afraid to tell the truth that would turn people away from sin, how are we to examine ourselves, and how will our hearts be convicted? What say you, Christian?

Sometimes, the room is filled with monkeys one typewriters, knowing full well that one of them will finish Shakespeares uncompleted works. I know they can catch up, if we just slow down a little. What do you think?

i believe religion to be an easy answer to our existence that some one or few ppl came up with and naive ppl believed

btw jesus was not born in a manger or a carpenter, despite popular belief, he was from royal anescetoray how was rich and his job was could be classified as a politian. that is not to say he was bad person. he had good ethics and trully wanted to help ppl in general but espicially thoughs how were being "hurt" by the romans. that is why he was crusified.
many ppl wanted his legacy and teachings to live on so they vastly exageratted his story, so much so that his teachings and life story were almost completely changed.

btw jesus is not the son of god. he never stated this and NO one belived he was. if u dont believe me just look at contemporary bibles/ very old testaments.

how can some one believe in god wen there is not even the smallest amount of proof of his existence. theres about a million times more of a chance of santa clause being real.

That everything is meant to be and things happen for a reason...

I'm going through such a hard time and I keep trying to tell myself that there must be some sort of a reason as to why this is happening to me... I just don't know...

Does anyone know a website that sends out free red kabbalah string? Everything else charges for it. I know nothing is for free, but the the religion is not supposed to charge for "holy" things. Or so they say. If anyone knows of a site please let me know. Many thanks!

I keep seeing this fallacy today - that Hitler was an atheist - where in the names of all the gods did you get such crapola? he was a Catholic - and considered himself a good one, and did a lot of what he did in God's name.

Saloth Sar - also not an atheist, though he did advocate the ideals of socialism and communism.

Stalin is the only one you all have correct as an atheist.

Study your history before assuming that all the world leaders who do bad things were atheist.

Or should I pull out a list of religious world leaders and name their atrocities?

Is there widespread agreement about this?

For example:
What is it?
Is it supernatural?
How do you know you have one?
Does it interact with the brain?
If so, how?
If not, why do you consider it relevant?
Etc.

In my opinion, the true spirit of charity doesn't involve lending money to others or organizations. I really think this is a key area in which many Americans have lost the meaning of or faith in charity. We do things indirectly, symbolically for cancer or cystic fibrosis without getting to close to disease and death and carry on with our lives. I'm very cynical about charity for the moment and plan to continue a "I'm not going to hurt you, but I'm not going to go out of my way to help you life."

Let’s face it; atheists are the closest thing to super heroes in the world today. After all, we are trying to save the word from fear, ignorance and superstition.
