I really need to work on forgiveness, I have a justice prophet type personality, not a prohet, and I hold grudges for ions, and I read this today and I just don't know how to sincerely in my heart do forgiveness. My language of forgiveness is that I want to hear that they won't do it again. But like in a rape case if they guy isn't caught you'll never hear it. so ?I have not been raped, but it puts it out there.
Here is what the daily reading said:

Maybe forgiveness is ultimately about me and about you, it's about us. Because when I forgive somebody and I set them free, it's like I'm really setting myself free. Forgiving is an action; it's something you do.

So may you forgive as you've been forgiven. May you give to others what's been given to you. May you set someone free and find out that it was you, and may you do it today, because you might not have the chance tomorrow.

Well then, was Jesus the only begotten son of God?

Read Psalms 2:7 : "I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me (King David, King), Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee"

Indeed, the Jews are even referred to as much more than this in the Bible, and this is indeed the very trait which Jesus (pbuh) held against them. When the Jews picked up stones to stone Jesus (pbuh) he defended himself with the following words

"Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, 'I said, Ye are gods?' If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken..." John 10:34:

When you ask a typical creationist what he thinks Evolution means, he'll say "Humans came from monkeys." or that Theories are the same as guesswork. I am asking this question to see how many people really know what Evolution is and what Evolutionary theory (The two are NOT the same) states. I'm bound to get some wild answers. So, please, take a crack at it.

Hint: Neither of these things is a matter of belief, any more than the natural phenomenon of gravity is. Also, one should not use in one's answer, the word proof. Science does not address things in these terms. Only Mathematics does that.

...IF... you ever met God (and obviously you were absolutely sure he existed) and he asked you why you didn't believe in him, how would you react? What would you say?
Plz don't say that he doesn't exist, just plz answer the hypothetical question...
Thanks in advance for the seriousness of your answers.

Because several christian zealots threaten with my soul this and my grave that, but, as I don't believe in god or whatever, he can't punish me, right ?

Also, he can't hold anything against me since I am not a sinner.

Cults like Jehovah's Witnesses are branded "NOT Christian" often with the short explanation "They do NOT believe in the Trinity".

How sure are we about the Trinity, never named in the bible?

What if a seeker gives his heart to the Lord but isn't sure about the concept of the trinity, are they unsaved?

Is doubt about the concept of the Trinity a "deal breaker"?

This is a partial list of early "christians" who rejected the Roman Catholics belief in the Trinity.
* Natalius, ~200
* Sabellius, ~220
* Paul of Samosata, 269
* Arius, 336
* Eusebius of Nicomedia, 341 (baptized Constantine),
* Constantius II, Byzantine Emperor, 361
* Antipope Felix II, 365
* Atius, 367
* Ulfilas, Apostle to the Goths, 383
* Priscillian, 385 (considered first Christian to be executed for heresy)

Were they "Church Fathers", or is this a list of hertics?

Back in the middle ages, thousands of women were murdered for no reason because they were thought to be witches. Now a days, people can't do those kinds of horrible things anymore, but Christians always seem to have a scapegoat for all their problems. It used to be witches, but now it seems to be gay people. I think that the modern anti-gay movement, mostly driven by the right wing, is the modern witch hunt. Gay's are the scapegoats for all their problems in life. If their poor, it's not because they were to dumb to go to college, nope, it's gay peoples fault. If God doesn't answer their prayers, it's not the fault of God, no, it's gay people. I wonder who the Christians will choose as their scapegoats after the gays.

How do you handle passages like the following? They both clearly point out that you should put your kids to death.

For those that pick and choose what do you base your choices on?

Deuteronomy 21:18-21. If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son.........stone him with stones, that he die

To those that will say thats the old testament and Jesus removed those practices I point you to.

Mark 7:9-10 Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
