At least if someone quotes, they can explain how and why they used the quote and how it applies to the question. That would always be nice.

Ok I have read a lot of your questions and I have a few of my own for you.
Do you have a brain? Have you seen your brain? Have you ever touched your brain? Has anyone ever heard a thought come out of your brain? Have you ever tasted your brain? Have you ever smelled your brain?
No Well then according to your precious science, you have no brain. Some things just are. We all know you have a brain but we have never with our five senses proven you do in fact have one. Same thing with God.
I would really appreciate it if the next time you have a real religious question, you humble yourself to not mock or judge a group of people and just honestly ask the freaking question you will find that we are a lot nicer about giving the information if you do.

Do you have your own ideas ?
Do you mean like in your last question that I answered?
Jesus wouldn't be pleased with any Christians who taught that AIDS was specifically sent from God to kill homosexuals. As to the rest of what you posted, here is what Jesus said.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
re: wonderful people like the Dahli Lama
Have you ever met him? Do you think that he has ever broken any of God's laws from the time that he was born? Do you know what types of thoughts he has had during his life?
The Bible is clear. ALL have sinned and fallen short of God's perfect standard of righteousness. The wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus for all who will repent of their sins and turn to Him to be saved.
A human judge cannot let someone off the hook who has committed a crime just because when they were not breaking the law they did a lot of good deeds. Neither can God go against what He has sworn in regards to the punishment He has ordained for all who break his laws.
Either you can stand before God on judgment day and try to be justified in his sight because of all of the good things you have done and end up being condemned for the times you told a lie or used his name like a curse word or broke some other law, or you can accept the payment that He has provided because of his love in the form of the sacrifice Jesus made for you on the cross.

Christina H , it is quite easy to have a cat san or an Xray and prove that there is a brain inside your head without having to taste it or open the skull. That is an improper analogy.

If you must quote any book, make it a brief excerpt. And explaining its relevance to the question might be a good idea.

2 Timothy 3
16. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17. That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Do I really need to explain why I quoted this scripture for this question? Sometimes I just like to let God do my talk-en....

Martin S, God bless him, like the rest of us Christians, just loves to follow God's word. The Bible is full of wonderful truths. Your ideas and my ideas are not important. But, God's are.

I would hope he received this badge from quoting the truth but doubt that many people including yourself recognize the truth. There is only one truth there are not many so if a man agree with what is true he would definitely agree with God.
