someone, when choosing a best answer, leaves a lot of feedback on why they chose that answer?

Cool. The only reason I asked this is because I usually leave a lot of feedback, and somehow I got the idea in my head that it might irritate someone...l

Thanks, guys.

Not really.

I like to hear their thoughts on what I posted...even if they give me one star and tell me they disagree.

I like it when they pick you as the best answer, then leave feedback on why you were wrong (in other words, the were looking for someone to agree with them). Had that a few times.

No not at all, Thats why the feedback part is there. It also lets you know more of what certain users are looking for in the form of best answers.

Not at all. What DOES bother me, though, is when someone gets 20+ detailed, in-depth, original answers, and they pick a one-liner that agrees with them. It makes me feel bad for the poor guy who sat there for a half hour answering the question politely and thoroughly, only to be ignored just because his answer wasn't what the asker wanted to hear.

I always thank everyone for their answers and try to give a short reason why I chose the answer I did. I figure if folks took the time and trouble to answer my question, they deserve that.

No. I like feedback. I appreciate it when someone likes my answer enough to pick it. If they have something to say about it - all the better.

No...shouldn't they leave feedback if the person took time to answer?

No, I always go to my best answers and see if anyone said anything to me. I think it's really fun and interesting to see what the asker thought of my answer!

A little.
What really bothers me is when you get 200 word questions.

I think it makes the whole experience a little more personal.
