Actually, many mental illnesses stem from delusions about God in some way.
However, I still believe in Divine experiences.

You've got a point there. I don't know, maybe because for like 2000 years God hasn't talked to anyone. And the government and society is all about now, so 2000 years ago is too old for them. They think it's impossible for God to talk to anyone. I don't know, people are weird lol

Okay, God speaks to me...and I'm not in a loony bin.
Could you be a little more specific?
God speaks to everyone...just not everyone listens. Besides, if it goes against what His word says (Holy Bible) then it's not God talking to you...
In the book of John, Jesus tells us a house divided will not stand.
The living God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit...all say the same thing yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Peace and grace to you!!

I know. I even heard a preacher say if you seen an angel, or angelic visitation you should see a shrink. I think it's lame that they do not have faith that it happens.
