If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had 8 kids already, three who
were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had
syphilis, would you recommend that she have an abortion?

And:

It is time to elect a new world leader, and only your vote counts.
Here are the facts about the three candidates. Who would you vote for?

Candidate A.

He's had two mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.

Candidate B.

He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon , used opium in
college and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.

Candidate C

He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an
occasional beer and never cheated on his wife.

Well, does she want to have the 9th kid? I mean I read this book about this woman who took drugs and stuff on purpose while she was pregnant so that the kids would be retarded in a funny way, and she'd make the work at the circus. It was the most disgusting book ever. Of course I'd recommend abortion. But it's not my problem. I don't even want her coming to me and asking for an advice in the first place.

I like Candidate C very much, I mean out of A, B, and C he's the best, I don't like people who ever had something to do with wars, but comparing to the other candidates, he's okay. What an election though, only my vote counts? If only my vote counted for every single thing that had to be decided, we'd be living in a better world. But if only my vote counted, that would make ME the world leader...

Wow, how ignorant I was. But it doesn't change anything, I still would've recommended abortion, because there's no way I could've known that the next kid will be Beethoven. And also, I never could've known that Hitler would've decided to kill every single Jew in the world.
Hitler never really had a wife to cheat on...

I still wouldn't recommend an abortion. And as for the descriptions of the candidates, none of the things you described would even come into play when I decide who I want to vote for. I don't care who drinks, smokes, eats meat, sleeps til noon, etc. I care only about the actual issues.

1- I'd probably refer her case to a doctor for second opinion.

2. Candidate A & B is already a president. Candidate C doesn't have the right quality as A & B. Nobody will support him.

No. I would recommend that she not get pregnant again. But if she's already pregnant, there's no reason for her to kill the kid- the kid can't help existing. If she can't provide for her child, she should give it up for adoption.

I can't tell you who I'd vote for based simply on a few personal facts. I'd have to know what they stood for and why. C sounds like the best candidate based on his diet and marriage status, but if he supports abortion and gay marriage and embryonic stem cell research and such, I couldn't in good conscience vote for him. If only my vote counted, I'd be important enough to take office myself.

There's no rock-solid reason for her to abort. Only probabilities. Once you realize that, medically, a fetus is a human baby, and nothing else, and that abortion is a painful way for that baby to have to die, you will have to change your vote. (I guarantee you not one presidential candidate is innocent.)

I choose candidate D

I would recommend that she use protection and not get pregnant. It's her choice to decide on whether to have an abortion or not.

I would select Candidate C
