According to the bible gays cannot blink, this is one of the many many reasons I'm not a Christian, what a load of crap! Has anyone else read this? I remember hearing it on QI and laughing for hours. Stephen Fry is an amazing guy and should be looked up to, atheism is the truth.

Can anyone think of any other weird and wonderful (as in funny) stuff in the bible?

If atheism is just disbelief in gods, then there is no reason for atheists to be critical of theism and religion. If atheists are critical, it means they are really anti-theists and anti-religious, right?

Please answer the question and be honest.

personally I do believe in evolution, and there are no religions that are based on the scientific fact that evolution is the true reason why all came to be, with the idea of natural selection. Is darwinism a religion or did it used to be? I just dont know,
I know that everyone believes in just about something, but it appears all are under the impression that a god created everything. To my understanding that is a primitive belief, but soon in humanities future all will come to mature to reality. its like the process in growing up for civilizations. I debated whether to go along, but just could not bear worshipping a god that doesnt exist. I am trying to find the religion that I believe to be based on a more logical theory. cannot be atheist, because they believe in nothing, cant be scientologist because of their alien probing stuff. I read of darwinism, but nothing indicates it s a religion. I dont like thinking in primitive ways, so I need to know it darwinism is a religion or not

I think they are discouraged...after all we believe that Jesus turned water into wine, so if Alcohol is a sin we wouldn't acknowledge him doing.

From the surahs I read I came to interpert them meaning that they are paths that can lead to sin..but they themselves are not sinful...such as drinking alcohol can lead to domestic abuse which is bad but having a beer isn't bad. So i see no wrong in having and occasional drink and playing poker every now and then

They know someone doesn't beleive the Bible is true, and then they try to convince them it is by quoting the Bible to them? If they didn't believe it when they read it, why would you saying it help?

Since Xanax is the evil Xenu in pill form?

And can one substitute an anti-diarrheal to aid in anxiety and depression because, quite clearly, an anti-diarrheal would be the antithesis of what Xenu had in mind about blowing us all up with his nukes? Or must it be auditing yet again? (It's getting bo-ooring, guys).

If you send me $1,953,748 (check, cashier's check, money order, Visa, Amex, MC, Diner's Club, debit card and cash accepted) I will send you out on my Scietologicerrific cruise ship "Makewinds".

Namaste brothers and sisters! We are individual, yet united! Always the spirit forms the flesh! That being said...

Tell me of some of your discoveries this week.
Have you had any adventures?
You've been expanding in all directions at once...so I know you have something to share!
Speak to me of your secret life...
the one which whispers of the promise...
tell me of your first and last love...
can you feel the wave coming on?!?
how do you brace yourself to withstand the impact?
do you surrender to the ecstasy?
How are you dealing with the whole idea of manifesting yourself in four dimensions?
(it feels kinda cramped sometimes, doesn't it?)
is the ego side of you adjusting ok?
(teach the children!)

"Living in the limelight
The universal dream
For those who wish to seem
Those who wish to be
Must put aside the alienation
Get on with the fascination
The real relation
The underlying theme"

Did God really say thou shall not eat of the tree of knowledge...?

shop for the answers they want to hear? It is not logical to chose to only see and not hear. A wise person weighs what he sees and hears and then ponders God's word to find the truth. Only when a person searches to know ( prove) God , is it revealed to Him. Searching to disprove is not an act of faith.

An act of faith in (and not out) is the way to achieve proof in which many request. When this is done , the feeling of joy and love is to much to contain and you just want to share the good news of the gospel.

Would you rather be a Catholic or an Atheist! I'm Catholic and I don't see how a lot of people would rather be an Atheist and deny God than believe in God (whom is obviously very real)!

Yesterday my JW aunt invited me to her church and I told her that I couldn't because I had to go to mine (Mormon) almost at the same time than hers starts, and she started to freak out about it and like yelling: "What are you gonna learn there, blah blah blah..." and she showed me a part of her Bible in which it says that the JWs were the ones picked by God or something like that, I can't translate, that happened in spanis and she showed me that verse and she was like giving me a class about her church (she has talked to me about it a lot before). She is really pushing me and bashing my beliefs (has happened for years)... even before I was Mormon and I was a Catholic she used to put really down Catholicism and when the Pope was dying she was like "die.. die" and bashing him him, etc...

I know that not all JWs may be like that, I have met some nice JWs. Are you guys encouraged to put other churches down?
What are the differences between your Bible and the KJV Bible?

The Theory of Evolutionology claims that the world was created 6,000 years ago and that nothing has changed since then. If this is true, how come we can find dinosaur fossils that are millions of years old? And bacteria and rocks that are billions of years old?

Doesn't that prove that the world is closer to 4.5 billion years, like it says in the Bible? I mean, how can evolutionists believe things like the world was created in seven days and that it took only a day to create humans. Humans were created by a long series of genetic mutations over thousands of generations, like it says in the Bible.

You crazy evolutionists, thinking that the world is only 6,000 years old and species don't change over time. That makes no sense to me. If the world is really so young, then how do you explain all the things that are so old?

If God did not create the universe, then who did?

We all know about the big bang theory. Ok, I believe it, but even the big bang theory starts with a "mass" or singular molecule.

So...who put that mass/singularity there if not God? Who created the DNA evolution, chemical reactions, etc... if not God?

If we couldn'tt answer what is out there & what is the end of the universe, and we knew that it exists, wouldn't it be LOGICAL to accept that there is a Creator and yes we could not answer the INCOMPARABLE feature, quality & the unique existence of the Creator?

Is he that powerful?

It seems that God tormented Job- killed all of his children, took his land, sacrificed his oxen, and covered him head-to-toe in painful, burning boils- to teach Satan a lesson about faith, yet God, being omniscient, should have known that torturing Job would serve absolutely no purpose as anything but a testament to cruelty and that Satan, being Satan-like, would have found the "lesson" to be perfectly hysterical. Was God trying to make Satan even more arrogant by torturing another for him? Or did Satan trick God, thus taking away his omnipotence and rendering him, well... ungodly? Or was God just being a hypocrite, knowing that his torment of Job would change nothing but enjoying the power he had to do it anyway?

Please explain this to me as best you can. I cannot see a good side to it however it is interpreted.
