I don't believe it is a sin. I believe that our souls are either female or male and sometimes we choose to come here in the opposite gendered body and therfore that is why homosexuality exist. I think that and believe that in Heaven on the otherside we have relations with whomever we please whether male or female we merge for reasons other than sexual gratification... to gain the knowlege and experience of anothers soul. So, I just don't believe that God sends people to hell for being who they were born to be here on earth. Plus, when you think about it homosexuality is not the sin.... the sin would be in the act of sexually being with someone of the same sex. Sin is sin so what happens to those who have sex before marriage and those who cheat on their spouse and those that tell lies?? God is all Merciful and All Loving so it is stupid to think that homosexuals have any less of a chance of getting into Heaven than any other person on this earth that commits sin....as we all have.

Never do the words homosexuality and sin meet in the bible. In one part (leviticus I believe) it is refered to as an abomination, right before it calls all shellfish an abomination. Again, never does the bible state that a person will go to hell for being homosexual either. People take different parts of the bible and mix 'em around so that they can pretend the bible implies it.

God destroyed Sodom, Gomorrah and the 5 cities on the plain, why? Because the men of the city wanted to have their perverted lustful ways with the messengers. I think that means they were homo's. Man shall not lie with man as he does with a woman. That means male-male relations are not permitted as being a person in the camp of God. Why did God make a female for Adam? I would say yes, homos are at great risk for being eternally damned in the lake of fire.

Homosexuality is not an alternative life-style acceptable to God. Frequently, both gay and liberal preachers twist the scriptures in futile endeavors to make it seem that it is. (2 Peter 3:16) Thousands of years ago Jehovah destroyed Sodom because most of the males of that city practiced it. Centuries later the apostle Peter likened men who copied those Sodomites to “unreasoning animals born naturally to be caught and destroyed.” .

In unmistakable language, both male homosexuality and lesbianism are condemned by the inspired apostle Paul: “God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error.” Romans 1:26, 27.

Paul specifically mentioned those who evidently take on a passive sexual role and those who assume a more active “male” role in their immoral relations. Thus he made it plain that God disapproves of all homosexual acts.

Paul is saying that anyone that is "homosexual, or & adulterers, nor effeminate "having unsuitable feminine qualities" nor abusers" so he is not just referring to homosexuals but to all above, these cannot be approved of God or receive any blessings from the Kingdom that Jesus talked about when he was on the earth.

Would it be just or loving to condemn a person for doing something that you yourself planned for him to be?

SINCE “HELL” MEANS THE “GRAVE” everyone who dies, goes to "hell" and not a burning "hell" that most religions teach, which is a false teaching.

Jesus Christ spoke about the condition of the dead. He did so with regard to Lazarus, a man whom he knew well and who had died. Jesus told his disciples: “Lazarus our friend has gone to rest.” The disciples thought that Jesus meant that Lazarus was resting in sleep, recovering from an illness. They were wrong. Jesus explained: “Lazarus has died.” (John 11:11-14) Notice that Jesus compared death to rest and sleep. Lazarus was neither in heaven nor in a burning hell. He was not meeting angels or ancestors. Lazarus was not being reborn as another human. He was at rest in death, as though in a deep sleep without dreams. Other scriptures also compare death to sleep. For example, when the disciple Stephen was stoned to death, the Bible says that he “fell asleep.” (Acts 7:60) Similarly, the apostle Paul wrote about some in his day who had “fallen asleep” in death. 1 Corinthians 15:6.

Too many to try to look up. Do a subject search at bibleresources.bible.com. Try unnatural acts and uncleanness and bestiality that's always close to it.
Or just quit wondering and accept that it is UN-natural and unclean (soul) and as bad as bestiality. So don't do it . God doesn't hate the sinner He hates the sin.

Hell if I know!!! When you find it let me know, because it confuses the heck out of me how Christians can say they love everyone, and then turn around and hate certain groups. Seems a bit hypocritical to me.
may peace be with you

"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." 1Cor 6:9,10

"God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator— who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done." Rom 1:24-28

Jude 1:7 "In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire."

Heb 13:4 "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral."

Furthermore Jesus said concerning marriage "at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’" of which he took as a precedent for marriage
