Do you think it is wrong for schools to have students say the Pledge of Alligence when not everyone believes in one god or even in a god?

Who should I associate with more?

The non-religious ones that don't go to church or believe in a God OR
The ones that go to church on sundays and pray and believe in a God.

They both have their own philosophies, but the religious ones are more conservative.

Darwin admitted that millions of ‘missing links,’( transitional life forms), would have to be discovered in the fossil record to prove the accuracy of his theory that all species had gradually evolved by chance mutation into new species.
So evolution is still a theory as are other interpretations of creation..? Correct??

As the Christian fundamentalists keep reminding us, the bible clearly states that homosexuality is an abomination to God. I admit, my knowledge of the bible isn’t great but I don’t think “child molestation is an abomination to God,” is mentioned anywhere in the bible. To me, homosexuality is something that goes on between consenting adults and is not really a crime at all whereas child molestation is a truly horrible crime with long lasting consequences for the victim. Why wouldn’t God inspire people to write about the unforgivable sin of child molestation?

A friend read my tarot cards today. Many times during the reading the words, re-birth and rejuvination came up. Renewed courage was also mentioned.

I think that is good. Don't you?

people are the most tolerant. Wonder why that is? We put up with everyones put-downs, yet still say everyone has their own path. We don't convert or condemn. Kudos to us!!!!!

If god designed the natural world, then god is the organizer of the largest and longest lasting animal fighting arena of all time. Isn't that even worse than what the scumbag Michael Vick did?

I was baptised a Catholic, made my first Holy Communion, Confimed and married all on the same day in the same Church, my Grand father was my Godfather, my sponsor and gave me away.

I read this Quote, what do you think?
"Civilized people do not put children to death for what their fathers have done. Yet aborting a child conceived by rape is doing that exact thing"

There is only a 3% pregnacy rate of rape victims, so this is not really a overwhelming problem....but,
I thought what if there where famous people concieved from rape and they had been aborted?
Here are some I found:

Faith Daniels -- talk show host
of the TV show Dateline, A
Closer Look, and Today (among
others). She describes coming
to terms with the fact that her
conception resulted from rape in
a People Magazine article.

Fredrick Douglass -- former
slave and abolitionist. He details
his conception by rape in his
writing, Narrative of the Life of
Fredrick Douglass, available

Jesse Jackson -- Reverend
whose mother was 16 when he
was conceived and whose father
was a 30-year old next door
neighbor who was already
married

Pagan according to most dictionaries means any religion that is not Christianity, Judaism, or Islam. It therefore covers hundreds of religions including Hinduism, Buddhism, and many others. Yet many neo-pagans seem to use it as if it meant one big religion.
