If so, why do you ask for proof's, such as speaking out against terrorism, or stopping FGM, but then ignore it when it's put in your face? Does truth and evidence scare you that much? For the needed info, check the link.

him/her to heaven when he/she died?

For example: I read about this guy who was a real strong christian, preached it everyday, but one day (several yrs later) saw a pic of a starving girl in africa and thought there was no God and rejected his faith. Will God still take him to heaven even if he doesnt want to anymore?

Angels get to live happily in heaven, whereas man has to go through all the sufferings on earth! How do you explain that? What's the difference between angels and humans?

Angels also have free-will and are capable of sinning (Satan and the fallen angels). So why is it that angels don't need to accept Jesus through faith before entering heaven?

I read in a book that there is a temple not far from Madras where 3,000 years ago a great sage wrote on palm leaves the lives and deaths of all men of all time, past, present and future. When a visitor arrives a monk comes out to greet him and takes out one of the yellow leaves where the history of the visitor is written...Is this true? Has anyone been there? Where is this temple? Any info...

by the Antichrist in the Great Tribulation and he told you to deny Jesus so that you will live, Would you deny him?

Rev 20: 4 ~ "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."

Note: The bible speaks more of a Post Tribulation Rapture rather than a Pre.

I read that in Dante's Inferno---It is very wise in my opinion.
If God is absolute Justice, Righteousness, Holiness, and wisdom. We have no right to argue with His infinitely wise choice. What are your views?

It seems to me that the koran is unreliable , because it contradicts itself in many places. If God cannot change, or lie, then surely this would also follow that any book that is supposeed to be the devine words from God, should also not change or contradict itself. Otherwise one should be entitled to disregard it as just the ravings of a mad man.

Matthew 7:6 ".....do not cast your pearls before swine."
I just saw this verse being used again (by a contact, a person who I respect greatly) in regards to quoting bible verses or witnessing to unbelievers. When in the CONTEXT of the verse, it is talking about christians being hypocritical.
My point is; The verse has nothing to do with witnessing. It is the CHRISTIAN who "cast pearls before swine" by BRINGING REPROACH to the name of Christ by practicing unchristian behavior. Why do so many christians use this verse as an excuse NOT to witness to someone? When did it become our job to decide that someone is just too "hopeless" to witness to? Why is this verse jerked out of its context so often?

i know i sound rude , and offensive please explain though.

i was told that god love us so much that he gave his only son jesus to die for our sins so we must accept him as a personal savior and stuff to be saved.

but what exactly is 'gave'?

i mean seriously he was united with his father after he is crucified , it is not as though he was burn in hell eternally and seperate from god eternally ..

so why ? please don't quote

I know that you might wanna laugh, because at heart, I'm a very, very, VERY simple creature. Try to hold it back though, these are things that I'm very appreciative for in my life:

*My flip flops. I think they are like my 3rd pair, ever, but I swear, I don't feel anything when I wear them. They have decent support. This isn't what I'm most thankful for, but it had to be mentioned! =D
*My internet friend, Chad. He makes me feel like I'm really not alone in this world. He has a potentially big, BIG problem on his hands right now, but I'm trying to soften the blow a little. Very sweet, like-able person.
*My cousin Nick. He's awesome and then some. He works a lot, and our relationship has been suffering because of it (amongst other things) but he is one of the best people I know in real life.
*My mother. Though she can be strict and a bit "mean" at times, she's is very giving and lovely in her own way.
*My brother Antwain. I know you probably shouldn't have a favorite, but he's mine......

I am a nontheist (I do not believe in a god) but I am open to debate on the issue. I would like to know what arguments people believe are the strongest arguments and lines of evidence that support creationism, especially young earth creationism. I want to know why people believe in creationism, and would like to see the evidence that supports their position.

I DO NOT want to read mindless prattle, please, if you are going to respond do so intelligently without profanity and without attacking other peoples beliefs.

Also, please include sources for your arguments if possible, I would like the opportunity to read what you have read to lead to your argument for creationism.

Hello.
I have done some really horrible things lately, and have done them before, and I am so ashamed of myself it hurts, I have promised the Lord that I would stop but I keep doing it over again, it is not just one thing, it is many things, I really need his forgiveness once again, and help to stop. Will the Lord forgive me again and help me?

God created man perfect with the free will to choose to be imperfect. Adam brought corruption into mankind and we chose to sin in our corrupt nature. God took the responsibility of our sin when He died on the cross and rose from the dead.

I've been recently seeing this question from angry immature atheists. I hope they receive comfort and give up their hatred of the creator.

(Encyclopedia Britannica) The History of Christian Mysticism, where it reads: “Although the essence of mysticism is the sense of contact with the transcendent, mysticism in the history of Christianity should not be understood merely in terms of special ecstatic experiences but as part of a religious process lived out within the context of the Christian community. From this perspective mysticism played a vital part in the early church. Early Christianity was a religion of the spirit that expressed itself in the heightening and enlargement of human consciousness”.

Have you ever wondered if humans can count the time period NOW? We can count yesterday, and tomorrow, but fail at grasping NOW. Is it a second? A fraction of a second? Could NOW possibly be the fourth dimention? And why is it that humans cannot live in the NOW? Why did humans start counting time in the first place?
