No matter how smart, pretty, or ugly we are, we all have our own special talents to make the world a better place. We just need to learn what they are and how to use them. If everyone was the same, we wouldn't be so interesting. Everyone plays a part, we just have to know what it is.

God created humans balanced. He created every human with the different ability, in some side that human is marvelous but not in the other he is not. God created humans like that so the humans can completing each other. If you see every human with the same ability you will get bored or even you see every human with the same face you will see that every human uhas no different. About uglier or more beautifull or maybe more handsome, it depends on sense. Some people said that tom cruise is handsome and not for some people, some people thinks that Sharon Stone is beautifull but not fof few people. But in fact, God created human like HIS image. so, we are imagodei (the image of God).

Are you asking why we are not all clones of God?
If so, the answer is the same as why all the children of two parents are not clones of the parents. People may say, "He is the spitting image of his dad," or "She is exactly like her mother," about one of the children, but usually they say "She looks like her mom" etc. But the image is the same: one head with hair on it, 2 eyes, 1 nose, 2 lips, 2 ears, 1 neck, 2 arms, 1 trunk (body) 2 legs, etc. That is the image, but the exact details (facial features, color of eyes, shape of fingers, etc.) set each person apart from each other person.

And we pretty much choose our own temperament, actually. We choose to be happy or grumpy each day. We inherit smartness, but we also choose to be smarter or less smart by what we fill our minds with--even two siblings are different in that respect sometimes.

Being made in God's image means that we have a soul, that we can reason, know God, worship Him, and love Him. Animals cannot. We have moral values and abstract conceptual capability. The human is a wonderful creation of God.

The "image of God" that we resemble is generally held to mean that people contain within their nature elements that reflect God's nature: compassion, reason, love, hate, patience, kindness, self-awareneness, etc.

God is spirit, so God's image is spirit. Amen. Remember that God first created man in His own image(Genesis 1:27)
loooong before He created him in flesh in a form of Adam(Genesis 2:7).

So being created in God's image has nothing to do with our physical looks, but our spiritual looks. Amen!

Those are not the real reference parameters but relative indicators,as pretty for one may not be so for other, hence relative.List all the attributes assigned to God in any religion and then think of a human being with those attributes.Religious teachings are mostly subjective and taking them on their face values can be misleading.

god's a spirit, there's no form whatsoever.
So he made the human souls in his spiritual image, and the human souls inhabit material bodies which were made through millions of years of evolution.

Traits like strength, intelligence are governed solely by the material bodies.

The Hebrew uses two words for create:

Asah---which means to create out of the elements of the earth, God made our physical bodies---Asah.

Jhtsar- which means to create out of nothing-----God made our souls---Jhtsar.

We are like God in our spirit, or soul-----we have emotion, free will, mentality--------That is the image of God---not our physical likeness.
