him/her to heaven when he/she died?

For example: I read about this guy who was a real strong christian, preached it everyday, but one day (several yrs later) saw a pic of a starving girl in africa and thought there was no God and rejected his faith. Will God still take him to heaven even if he doesnt want to anymore?

Agree with Silver, you cannot lose your salvation. Either that man wasnt saved, or he is experiencing a brief spiritual crisis.

It is hard to believe that a strong christian would just see a picture and renounce his faith i would venture to say that he wasn't saved to begin with. but i have seen christian people go through difficulties and reject there faith and i would have to say yes they will still go to heaven. its about accepting Jesus. And once you truly do that well you cant add to it or take it away. its a gift from God. now when you are saved you are indwells with the Holy spirit. He is like that little voice that leads you to study Gods word, stuff like that.well some people suffocate the spirit.and i believe that if you do that very much that the spirit of God just kind of Quiets and you cant hear His voice anymore.Unless you repent and turn away from you sin.

It has always sounded like a country club membership to me. I don't think it makes sense that modern Christians go on and on about believing in Jesus means you are saved.

To me Jesus was a man of action. And, people are missing the point if they only worry about themselves. I guess to me a true Christian. Would say "God send me to hell to save that other guy from having to go." But, instead some seem to revel in others suffering for eternity.

Part of why I don't like Christianity is because of these types. I would rather live my life as the best person I can be and "burn in hell" for eternity for not believing. And be true to myself. I also think if there is a god that he would know that I'm a good person and wouldn't want me to suffer.

Basically the man woke up and realized that there are more important issues to focus on than worshiping someone his whole life...hmmm....sounds like he saw reality.

You can sit around your whole life "worshiping" and loading up the kids and driving to church every Sunday...to act like you are doing something good in the world....

Or you can buy a darn plane ticket and fly to Africa and start helping these children in need....

People hold a religion mostly to satisfy that need to feel compassionate...but don't want to actually put effort into it. Yes I know I know there are christians that get on that plane too...but most do not.

SO what are you gonna do....be a great person by sitting on your butt and reading a book written hundreds of years ago by random people....or do something to change the world?

No God is not taking him. The whole point of being a Christian is believing and accepting Jesus into your life.
Its really the peoples fault that the world is screwed. Gods not going to make back perfect the things that people keep messing up on

Well you can't lose your salvation first of all, but to question there salvation is wrong also. We all know that God is the only one who knows that answer. We can judge just by the way the carry themselves, but who knows that doesn't always mean they are not saved. Show me in the bible where it says salvation can be lost? Ssalvation is a gift, it is eternal, there is scripture for that just don't have a bible next to me. Eternal means forever so how can you lose something that was given to you forever? Proud Baptist

Our God expects us to help others in need (Not only help, but love unconditionally) . If the person was a real christian, he would have helped the african girl.

I dint know God was there, though I was born a christian, but in trouble when I prayed, He answered me. In the past dew years He led me wonderfully from my sinful life,

Many people suffer either for their sins because satan rules their house and God cannot do anything where evil is there. And many for other reasons too. But to them who trust in God, there is a way out.

I do believe so because once saved -- always saved. A person may backslide or need reassurance in GOD. If you remember when Jesus was crucified and there were two thieves beside him and one acknowledged him and asked to be forgiven and jesus told him there would be a place in Heaven for him. REPENTANCE IS KEY. We are saved by Grace.

nothing can separate a Christian from God’s love....However if he chooses not to believe in God and denies there is no God, than he most likely doesn’t believe in heaven. In the End I think it is Gods decision where he will live for eternity .

A person who is truly saved is truly in love in Jesus. I cannot imagine someone being truly in love with someone else saying "I don't want to be with you" - which is the scenario you present.

But if a person's love grows cold, if a person does not cultivate and cherish his love relationship with Jesus, then, yes, I believe a man can reject the son of God and His offer of eternal life.... How sad.....

god bless

i think of you're lacking the finished factor of OSAS doctrine and what's in the back of it, i.e. love and elegance. by thinking of mankind as impartial in the previous the Lord, you're springing up with an diverse theory of salvation by stress. OSAS ability guilt, and the will for a savior, no longer picking God off a menu or being stress-fed in case you elect the incorrect merchandise! "If no longer, then how are you able to state that a individual won't be able to lose their salvation?" it incredibly is attainable on condition which you do away with thoroughly guy's skill to seem to God for salvation. somebody could ought to hold you all the way by way of your existence that way, and a loving Father could do this. throughout the time of the toughest circumstances, Christians have wish. place self assurance in your self, as Peter did while observed as to stroll on the water, and additionally you sink like a rock. "If a individual later rejects Christ as their Lord and savior, will God stress them to bypass to heaven?" we've a sin nature interior us. That nature could reject God in a heartbeat shop for an incredible love that isn't enable us to bypass. the affection of Christ is a superb blessing and present, no longer a commodity you get to contemplate over like a categorized advert.
