Why does the Koran contradict itself ?

It seems to me that the koran is unreliable , because it contradicts itself in many places. If God cannot change, or lie, then surely this would also follow that any book that is supposeed to be the devine words from God, should also not change or contradict itself. Otherwise one should be entitled to disregard it as just the ravings of a mad man.

koran has too many contradictions. that is true. many places mohammed himself has said they have nullified an earlier verse with a new one. now what does that mean. god was wrong and had an after thought. that means god erred. oh! let me correct it. allah erred, agreed that he was wrong. so he sent in another verse. which again in my opnion was no better.

at the best koran is a book of abuse. have you heard anywhere god authorising his followers to rape, kill and loot the helpless civilians? it is there in koran. what a miracle it is. isnt it?

allah, mohammed, koran and islam - these are the poisonous seed that planted for the destruction of humanity. just look at the events happening in today's world. Proof is very much visible.

You must show us the evidence that Koran is contradicted itself.Koran is given by Allah the only one God.Koran is not made by Muhammad pbuh. because he was illiterate.As the evidence Muhammad pbuh himself did not know the meaning of Alif Laam Miim the first verse of Surah 2 Al Baqarah in the holy Koran.The genuity of Koran is maintained and guaranteed by God.There is no contradiction among its verses.If you find the contradiction I think you read the false Koran or you misinterpreted its meaning because you only understand its meaning in your own language but you do not know the historical background why certain verses given by God to Muhammad pbuh.Do you know that the Bible has so many contradictions because it is written by dirty hands so it is not genuine anymore.Bible has so many editions or versions with different contents.

Look at how Muhammad lived his life and read the whole quran over. there shouldn't be any contradictions. maybe you didn't understand the context and what was happening at the time when that was revealed. Muhammad is not a mad man. He was regarded as the most honest man even before he officialy received the revealation that he is a prophet.

Very simple...because it was not inspired by God. I think the biggest contradiction Muslims have to answer is about Jesus. They claim that He is a prophet of God. But Jesus said that only through Him is the way to the Father. If that is so, it means that they need to follow Christ's teachings and not Mohammed's.

Holy Quran never contradicts nor you will ever see a single error. This a universal truth accepted by all those who studied it and have knowledge. You will never have any proof for this claim? Perhaps you have misunderstood a verse or it's context!. Please ask a scholar.
