This question shattered my personal record for responses!
I am amazed at the acceptance in these answers, and even quite a few that are genuine and not followed by a saying like "love the sinner hate the sin".
There is hope in the religious community yet!

of course not. besides if you werent suppose to be on earth you wouldnt have been given the gift of life to appreciate it like everyone else. being gay is fine theres nothing wrong with it. if everyone was the same... thatd be.........really ...stupid and ... boring. and besides, deep down you know your a good person. you care about people just as much as anyone else does.

Oh gosh no, you're not less of a man at all...that is, unless you see yourself as "feminine" and identify that way.

Sexuality has lots of gray area. I'm friends with at least 15 gay men, and some are traditionally "manly", while others are more "feminine" in their demeanor. So it's really up to YOU. What do you think of yourself? In my eyes, you're a human being first, and the role you play in society is really not as important to me. I care about what kind of person you are, not so much the gender you identify with. So you're not less of a man, or more of a man, or anything like that to me.

You're just you. :)

No.

If you know the Christian standpoint on homosexual activity, know it's wrong, and choose to engage in it anyway, I think you have some things to sort out. But I also think it's between you and God and I can mind my own business. The fact that you're gay is no reason for me to get all judgmental of you.

No. If you are very good-looking, I may sigh and say, "What a waste!" But I don't consider you less of a man. In fact, some of the most masculine men I ever met were the "leather queens" in the Castro area of San Francisco. And cowboys: who in their right mind would call the lead characters of Brokeback Mountain unmasculine? (They are "what a waste" guys, though.)

Absolutely not! I would say it would make you more of a man because you are probably more in touch with your feminine side than straight men. Best of Both Worlds wrapped into one!

nope, wearing a dress makes you less of a man in my eyes or being a flamer, or trying to fit into the gay stereotype. but loving a man..nope...not one bit....i dont think of myself as less of a man..heck, im more of a man then most the guys ive ever met...and my husband can attest to that.

No,no...nothing would change, for me you would still be a man.Only because a man loves another man,he wouldn't be less man,he would be man like all the others.I'd respect you...
Your birth sex wouldn't change,a man is still a man, loving a woman or another man.Okay?

You should not be worried about how you appear in our eyes. You are the one who has to be comfortable within your own skin. Worrying too much about what others think will cause insecurities and self hate. Love yourself for what and who you are!! Remember....God forgives all of those who ask for his forgiveness. God is not judgmental or unkind!! God's word is a word of love, not hate!! Love on!!

You seem to think that being a "man" is a good thing. Throughout history, men have started wars, whipped slaves, hunted species into extinction, invented nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, etc. Just be yourself and be good. Dont worry what what the ignorant masses think.
