No one can speak for Jesus but He speaks loudly for Himself:
Jhn 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Mat 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

This is good question . If you been Jesus did you fight in war ? The answer is what he doesn't care is stupidity that men kind are repaid and repaid and repaid .He is looking to rout not the branches .Fruit of war is destroying , dead , hate , darkness . To understand of what he wants to understood take look what he said .But to accept all same roll is to get out of frame and watching different angle . Answer of act is re act and potential of pressure is release and explosion ,in physical term and all of us are obey to it unless we don't want to stay in dark side of life . when you get to dark side till infinity will be dark .and if you choose light till infinity will be light and this is a choose that all of us will make one day .He choose the light and didn't fight .

Yes, he will fight in the final war.
Revelations 19:11
I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithfull and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has the name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with wich to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter " He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this written: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

He already has. Read the old testament and you will see where the battle was fought by God not the Jews. He will again at the end times.
