Christians claim that God is all that stops humans from killing, raping, and robbing eachother blind.

With the ever increasing population of Atheists/Non-believers in the world, why isn't the world always in constant Atheistic chaos? Why aren't all Atheists out carving "No God" in the corpses of their victims, then speeding off in their possessions while raping their youth on the way?

If God is necessary for altruism, why is it so abound in (godless) society which denies him?

You say that Jesus (peace be upon him) is God and he died for your sins, but why oh why would God wanna kill himself?? God can forgive you for you sins WITHOUT having to die.
And also, if he did die then who was watching over the world after his death??

Most of them are into themselves seems like, and material stuff, but they do not seem happy. They are either into drugs, or something. Look at Britney, and the rest of them, they are not happy, and they look awful, and act it too. What is wrong with them? They have all the material things, but is it enough?

God made humans. And cleary, as evidenced by the many posts from atheists on this site, a lot of people don't believe in Him and think the idea of his existence is absurd. So God made them w/ a logical mind that denies his existence (think about it, HE MADE THEM) KNOWING full well they wouldn't believe in him, yet made them anyway, knowing they'd end up in hell. Furthermore, by definition of what it takes to get into heaven according to the Christian Bible, the vast majority of the world is going to hell. And you all think that this makes sense?

I know you're not going to admit God may not exist, but would any Christian be willing to admit that we humans may really have no idea what he wants. That this all might play out a lot differently than expected.

Honestly, if I could just get one Christian to have the courage to admit something about this doesn't make I'd be happy. Just one.

isn't "nonbeliever" and "believe in evolution" a contradiction?

believers...please state why you think this.
nonbelievers...please state your thoughts on evolution.

i think that evolution is a very plausable theory and it makes good sense, but i don't know or believe that evolution happened. it just makes sense. go to the zoo and look at the orangutans.

Read the Stories of Horus, and Mithra. The Story of Jesus is Identical. There is no mention of his predecessors in the Bible, therefore the Bible does not make any association or claim that they have any relation. Therefore, the Story of Jesus is plagiarism. The OT can positively be attributed to plagiarism of the Sumerian Annals and the Enuma Elish. What grounds does any intelligent rational human being have to believe any of these stories as fact? The answer should be none. This applies to Judaism, and Islam as well.

so whatever God said is actually true that whoever said God is three in trinity has disbelieved?
Quran Ch5
[73] Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allâh is the third of the three (in a Trinity).....

disbelievers are those who said God is Jesus
Quran Ch5
[72] Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allâh is the Messiah ('Isâ (Jesus)) son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ('Isâ (Jesus)) said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allâh, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with Allâh, then Allâh has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) there are no helpers.

you denied God while you don't know.

I looked in the King James Version. It says, "thou shalt not kill." The Revised Standard Version also uses the word "kill". The New English Bible and the New International Version use the word "murder". Some people have told me that the Bible should be taken literally word for word. If that is so, then killing and murdering are the same thing. If I drop my hammer off the roof and it hits my neighbor on the head and he dies, I've murdered him. If they don't mean the same thing, then one of the Bibles is wrong. If it is wrong here, how do I know it's right anywhere else? How do I know which Bible is right? Will a newer translation come along in a few years that will make all previous Bibles incorrect.
I know they could all be wrong, but they can't all be right. How can a person know, if knowing is possible at all?

"Three former leaders of Exodus International, often described as the nation's largest ex-gay ministry, publicly apologized Wednesday for the harm they said their efforts had caused many gays and lesbians who believed the group's message that sexual orientation could be changed through prayer.

Speaking at a Hollywood news conference, the former leaders of the interdenominational Christian organization said they had acted sincerely in their years of work with Exodus. But they said they had all, over time, become disillusioned with the group's ideas and concerned about what they described as the wrenching human toll of such gay conversion efforts..."

I don't understand why creationists should care if poeple believe in evolution, it doesn't harm anyone in any way. Similarly, i don't see any reason why evolutionists should by so horrified if anyone believes in creation. Whichever you believe in, it doesn't seem to effect anyone else in any way. Whichever is true, i don't see how it makes much difference. So can anyone tell me why so many poeple make such a huge deal out of evolution vs. creation?

His encounter with the Messiah Kaduri claimed is alive in Israel today, he reportedly told close relatives: "He is not saying, 'I am the Messiah, give me the leadership.' Rather the nation is pushing him to lead them, after they find [in my words] signs showing that he has the status of Messiah."

Kaduri wrote that not all will believe in the Messiah – and that it will often be easier for non-religious people to accept him. He also describes a Messiah who is, at first, not aware of his position.

A few months before his death, Kaduri gave a Yom Kippur address in which he gave clues as to how to recognize the Messiah. He told those gathered for the Day of Atonement in his synagogue the Messiah would not come until former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon dies.

Kaduri was also quoted as saying the imminent arrival of the Messiah will "save Jerusalem from Islam and Christianity that wish to take Jerusalem from the Jewish Nation – but they will not succeed

What will the Catholic congregation think- will they welcome me or think 'not another convert'? Also I do not know fully how to take part in the Catholic Mass e.g crossing myself at the appropriate points and knowing the proper responses - do not want to look stupid or look like i'm being disrespectful. Am I actually allowed into the Mass, as I'm not Catholic? I know that I can't take communion in a Catholic church as although I'm baptised it is in the Anglican church, so I'm barred - although I can go up for a blessing. I'm worried about contacting the local Priest as I'm worried what his reaction will be - will he tell me to stick with the Anglican church? Thank you!
