The so-called "Jefferson Bible" is a very interesting read. I probably would have snipped even more from the narrative.

Yes the bible really is the big sell isn't it. The bible has been rewritten so many times and so many versions exist that the true teachings of Jesus will never really be known. How many king's and popes have revised the the books to show what they felt the people should know. It is bloody ridiculous. Sadly we will never know the truth because of the way the bible has become nothing more than a tool for control.

So jefferson wrote a commentary on the bible. many folks have. Jefferson was a deist, not a Christian.
