Because in their whole life they regret thet there is a God... Now, on the time that they are facing death they could feel His presence. And that is too late.

Yes your right. Why do they suddenly get religion when it never existed in their lives before. I think maybe it's because if you give your life to god and apparently it only really counts on your death bed then you'll be saved. From what i do not know. I am a davinci code kind a guy who for year and years have questioned the so called rulers and the church. The idea that you will enter gods kingdom just doesn't fly with the idea that all men are equal. If all men and women are equal why would we need a king or leader of any kind.

Could be that people that really blew it in life can sense the velvet darkness on the other side, to which they will succumb to, and will try in vain to seek the Light. Some after or near death experiences are not that pleasant, and have had life changing results if the person was lucky enough to come back.

some people want to wait till their "death bed experience" to accept Jesus.A person may not have the chance for such an experience.

Have you ever actually seen anyone on their death bed? I can assure you most of the time they aren't talking.

What else should they say? That doesn't mean they believe in god. I say "bless you" but I don't think if I don't the devil will get your soul if I don't.
