Eg. I saw this Christian program once with Kirk Cameron ( from the show, "Growing Pains"), and he claimed that Sabbath used to give "altar calls" during their concerts inviting people to give their lives to Satan.

Rubbish! I've been a Sabbath fan for decades and never found a trace of truth to this.

People have claimed that the song "NIB" stands for nativity in black. It was a reference to the pointed beard of the drummer at the time, (Bill Ward) and that it literally looked like a pen nib. Hence "NIB".

Or the most common lie that the song "Mr Crowley" is a dedication to the satanist, Aleister Crowley. Here is part of the first verse.

"Your life style to me seemed so tragic, with the thrill of it all.
You fooled all the people with magic,
yeah, you waited on Satan's call."

Clearly, he's saying that Crowley is a pathetic figure.

Why such lies to claim being evil? Why not state the truth to claim evil?

Maybe they're not as evil as people claim.

I hear this lots of times in everyday conversation,I am guilty of this one also, but
this is a pagan word.
All our blessings come from above.Shouldn't we
be giving God the praise instead of the devil.

Seriously, have you even looked into the verses you heard about? Did you try to find out what they were really talking about instead of taking anti-Islam site's word for it? Think about it, when somebody hates something or somebody, they are going to use every trick in the book. Same goes for those against any religion. I could just as easily do the same with any religion, but that's not me and I don't want to paint entire groups with the same brush as the bad apples. What do you think of this quote?

"He also said that a man gave a very thirsty dog a drink, so God forgave his sins for this action. The Prophet was asked, “Messenger of God, are we rewarded for kindness towards animals?” He said: {There is a reward for kindness to every living animal or human.}9"

I think all religions are good the bad ones are us who dont behave well, we have forgot that all religions have as an objective the fulfillment of live thru spirituality which dictates good rules, commandments, instructions and sometimes punishments, I ask myself a question, How come this world would be without religions and religious leaders? for sure terrible because they help us to be less bad but now some of us think religions are old usage systems of life and antique ways of behaviourism, sometimes parents prefer to go to a party or to a place where there are lush activities or events and then try to force their children to go to church, cult or rituals and, how come, thats not possible. This is like telling teens not to smoke when we are keeping our cigarrete or cigar strongly between our lips and burning, they could even hear us well because sometimes we can speak with saliva, air failing to come in the throat and words emerging with problem. Lets meditate please all these.

This Question is for people who have been gifted with psychic abilities or other abilities, esp, precognitive dreams, empathy, telepathy, etc. Where do you believe your gift/gifts came from? I am very interested in this subject & would like to hear your opinion.

Here are some of the ideas/beliefs/opinions that I have heard.
1.That the gifts come from the persons Deity (God,Allah, etc)
2.That people who have these gifts are a result of mankind's on going Evolution
3.That fallen angels (or Djinn/Jinn) had intercourse with humans thus resulting in people with unusual abilities.

If you agree/believe/understand any of the listed ideas/beliefs/opinions could you please explain them? I tried Google & Google did not help me with this subject.

Thanks for your time.
( Please answer respectfully, No flaming or fighting )

I believe that the story of Jesus Christ is fictional. The early Christians were just a cult and they made up this story of the Messiah and how he did all these miracles and died and rose from the dead to confirm that there is life after death. Is there any PROOF that Jesus Christ existed?

Sacramentals are objects and actions whose effects depend on the faith and devotion of the person using them, and the approval of the Church for their use. These include Holy Water, the Rosary, Benediction and Stations of the Cross.

If life on earth was seeded by extraterrestrials, what do you suppose their purpose would have been for doing that?

Propagation of their species wouldn't make sense, since evolution is unpredictable. By depositing single-cell organisms into the oceans of young earth, the odds of their exact species someday evolving into being are astronomical.

I love how these people think that science should be thrown out and substituted with mythology.
Let's say for the sake of argument that Creationists took over the US.
How would they keep the lights on?
How would they feed people?
How would they keep people from being sick?
Transportation?
Communication?
Industry?

Would they just pray for all of these problems to be solved? And hope that god would do it for them?
Good luck with that!
Maybe we should let them run the country for a weekend just to see how quickly it would take for them to be tarred and feathered.

It seems pretty obvious ,even if you put togheter all the different religions that make up christianity, that Christianity
just like all the rest of the religions in the world are MAN MADE AND WRONG!
If you think that Christianity is the right religion, why do you have so many different denominations?
Who is right catholics? baptists? anglicans? orthodox? Jehova witnesses?, mormons? and the list goes on and on.
If you think only Christians are good in front of God and are the only one to go to heaven, which denomination is supposed to go to heaven and which is going to be tortured in hell?

source:In any normal society RELIGION would not exist.

I know it will be just an opinion, since there is no scripture relating to suicide except where Saul's armorer does it and Samson in the pagan temple. I am versed in the bible, being indoctrinated at an early age. I personally don't believe every word of it, but some of it is backed by archaeological proof, so not all of it can be discounted. But much of it is too fantastical for me to believe. I just want to know if someone caught something I didn't. And murder is not suicide, it's defined as the taking of someone else's life. Lot was contemplating it, his wife told him to do so, and god didn't step in to tell him not to. So where does it say????????
