"So forget the game of being good,
And your self-righteous pain.
'Cause the only good inside your heart
Is the good that Jesus brings.
And when the world begins to see you change,
Don't expect them to applaud.
Just keep your eyes on Him and tell yourself,
I've become the work of God. " by Amy Grant
It's not about our emotions or feeling, cause they are changing every day. So we can't base our faith on how we feel. Read the word of God, and pray to him.

"There was a minister in the Midwest who was going for a walk with a soap salesman in the community who was a real skeptic toward Christianity. They were having quite an active debate while walking through the park. The businessman was getting in some good jabs at the inconsistency of Christians.
As they were walking through the park the soap salesman questioned the minister, "How can you say that Christianity works when even within the inner-city park you see derelicts of every kind, drugs, and prostitutes? Then you have the problems of the family, war, and disease, not to mention the negative problems of the world. How can you say that Christianity works? Just look around-it's not working." They walked in silence for a few moments, and then the minister turned to him and said, "You're a soap salesman, right?" "Yes, of course," was the reply. "Is it good soap?" "It's the best soap on the market!" was the comment of the salesman. The minister turned and pointed to a small child playing in the park who was covered with dirt and grime, and said, "This boy is dirty and filthy from the mud in the park; doesn't your soap help him?" The salesman said, "Well, you've got to apply the soap." The minister's response was, "So it is with the Christian faith. You must apply the Christian faith in order for it to work."
Accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior, and you will experience him head on.

In order to experience Jesus, you need to become very familiar with His words in the Gospels, and see how He handled situations, see the love He had for the people, which extends to us as well, in that He laid down His life willingly so we could have eternal life. Sit and meditate on the thoughts of Him hanging on the cross for you, & FEEL his love, and His longing for you to reach out and receive Him into your life. I like theverse " Be still and know that I am God ". He gave us His Son, who knew no sin to take OUR place , because without the shedding of the blood of an innocent lamb of God's choosing, there can be no remission of sins. Jesus was that innocent Lamb of God, who loves YOU so much.
Just think about that in the solitude of your own room & feel the love He has for you & me. That's what I call experiencing Jesus.

Jesus isn't something you can experience.
If your looking to find Jesus or connect with him, try doing something Christian-like. Eg Praying.
Alternatively, instead of trying to experience how about experiencing religion as a whole?
Try something new. Buddhism perhaps. That's all about finding Buddha. And finding yourself.
That could work for you?

Wow, a touching Q from an atheist promoting discrimination, how tacky.
Umm... never, cause the day he comes you will be dead you stupid infidel. Jesus(PBUH) was never Crucified. He isn't the son of God, and he didn't die on the cross for everyone's sins. He wasn't born to die on the cross, didn't plan on it, and never did.
