nor the desire of women. ive thought bout this 2 ways. 1) the gods of women or 2) he wont desire women. which one is it? i left the rest out cause this is what i was curious bout.

Why do some say that because the media shows crazies screaming islamic stuff while doing contrary actions, that this means every single man, woman, and even unborn children are all the same? Does that even make sense to rational, thinking people? What do you think of this quote?

We took our youth group to a youth conference this past weekend and one of the pastors was talking about a girl that was so full of the Lords presence that she was just weeping uncontrollably and speaking in tongues and the teacher told her to go to the bathroom and do whatever she needed to do to "fix" herself. Two of her friends went in there to check on her and they too were filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in tongues and weeping. Then, it spread all over; there were 60 people full of the Holy Spirit. I was wondering if anyone else heard that and if so, is there a website with that info on it, or a newspaper? Also, it was the same day as the Virginia Tech Massacre.

have to use spiritual terrorism and threats of burning in hell forever and ever to attract and keep followers?? Why would an all powerful diety be saddled with such pettyness as vindictiveness and jeolousy ie: thou shalt not worship anyone but me or you shalt burn in hell forever and ever" ?? Im just wondering because of course we hear about the crimes of some churches that were sexually based.
Compared to other countries the US is extremely opressed (I know many will argue, but I assure you it is true when you look at other countries) yet despite this we have a much higher sex crimes rate then these countries.
Some of your largest serial rapist/murderers stated that growing up they were in very conservative households where sex was considered sin and not discussed.
Just wondering if this sexual opression may in some way distort people's view on sex.
Any thoughts?

Please explain what Catholics, not the Church but the Catholic people have done to you to cause all your hatred on us

We believe in God and follow the Bible and yes we pray to Mary

Why do you hate us so much that you say we are in a cult, not Christians, whore of Babylon?

What if we called you names, you would not like it, it is our choice that we stay a Catholic because we believe in the Church

So why do you hate us, not the Church but Catholics?

I do not believe thier near death experience, if you look at most of them claiming hell is real you will notice they all tell the exact same story word for word, not one word changes. how can you believe that? nobody will descibe it the exact same that is impossible. nobody uses the same words to descibe anything. we all have our own vocabulary so to speak, how can you believe it?

The holy bible is a bunch of crap. It is totally a bunch of crap. The book is dumb and stupid. The only reason I believe in God and Jesus is so I can end my life and go to heaven.

I hope there is a heaven, so I don't have to come back to this filth called earth. I do anything to leave this crappy planet. This planet is waste.

How come God is so stupid to create humans. He should have known better. But then again he's God, what should I expect.

Were they following the way of jesus that was not told to the general public. Do they believe in jesus at all. How could they? Do they think the whole church system is just b.s? They must. How could they do such things? The numbers are finally in. Six billion dollars. Wouldn't that money have better uses careing for the poor and sick over the world?

Why are so many people posting hate filled rhetoric about the Catholic church? Just because some priests molested come kids does not mean every single priest or religious person did so. How can you say things like "I will never give a dime to a church because they cover up their scandals with it?" Not only do they do that,

~they pay their bills and taxes
~buy the wine and wafers
~make bibles and rosaries so people who can't afford them can have them.
~They pay for orphanages they run
~food and clothes for those orphans
~food and clothes for the priests, nuns, and monks
~Cars for priests so they can go to people for their last rites, ~gas for the cars

~not to mention feeding children in 3rd world countries
~donating money to rebuild towns after natural disasters
~to provide food for victims of war
~build more churches in towns that don't have one


The money you donate does not go for the Catholic church to "cover up" the mistakes priests have made.

I know that during The Reformation, a number of Protestant movements took place, creating people who were not following directly from The Vatican. I know there are Protestant christian religions, like Baptist, Mennonite, Evangelical, Anglican, Lutheran, ect.

I asked a few people what religion there family is, and some have responded "Protestant".

Is Protestant a specific denomination of Christianity? Is there a PROTESTANT CHURCH called just that: for example "First Protestant Church of Joesville" ? Or is the term Protestant simply a term for any Christian who is NOT Catholic - all the denominations of Christianity that fall under being not Catholic?

I ask this as a non-religious person interested in what the term "Protestant" can mean.
