I am not a catholic and I do not hate catholics. What they do is up to them and I expect them to allow me to do what I want and just let it me.
I must admit though I do in my heart feel sorry for them based upon how I do read the scriptures, but they are not the only religious group in that position in my view. It is just human nature to think that I am right and others are wrong.
I did not say it is a great view and I do admit at times I talk when I should keep my mouth shut. To avoid this I just try my best to avoid any conflict or circumstances that will result in a conflict. However my attention is focused on the church and what is taught and not so much on the members. It to me is the blind leading the blind and I see the greater fault in the leaders. They say they can see thus they can have no excuse.
Sorry for the confessions of a "NO" but that is my view. It may be over influenced by the fact that I see that everyone has a motive for his acts or actions, and I do find much hidden motives in my study of the catholic church.

Take it up with your Pope........
Pope's message disappoints other faiths
John Faherty
The Arizona Republic

Pope Benedict XVI on Tuesday asserted the spiritual primacy of the Roman Catholic Church.
He did so at the expense of Christian Orthodox churches, which he said are wounded, and Protestant churches, which he said are not really churches at all.
The pope approved a document that says the only path to true salvation is Catholicism. The move was a stark reaffirmation of centuries-old Catholic belief that Protestant churches are lacking because they cannot trace their leadership back to Christ's apostles. advertisement
The document says Christian Orthodox churches are true churches but have a "wound" because they do not recognize the power of the pope. Pope Benedict was correcting what he said were erroneous interpretations of the Second Vatican Council, which helped modernize the church.

I suppose I missed Catholic bashing? I do not agree with many things in the Catholic Church, but am not against people of that faith. I feel most in religion (aside from extremists, and those that teach its okay to beat your wife) have the best intentions regardless of their religion.
I do agree with what poster Michael B above has posted. To put it nicely, I am not a Pope fan and that reaffirms why. To me the Catholic Church itself and the higher ups are about power and money. I see annulments and mass cards (well intended by the people) as complete money making schemes as well.

The disagreements Christians have with Catholics
(and I do not hate Catholics) are as follows:
1. The Bible never says to offer prayers to Mary, that was made ordinance by pope pius IX, even the apostle Paul refused worship.
2. The Bible clearly says that "Thou shalt have no graven images." I should not have to explain that one.
3. A preist cannot forgive sins---that is blasphemy, only God can forgive sins. Even Jesus was called a blasphemer for saying he could forgive sins--but Jesus was God in human flesh so he could.
4. The name Vicar means the image of Christ on earth---so the pope claims to be Jesus himself----claiming to be God is Blasphemy.
5. The belief that you pay for your own sins in purgatory---means that Christ did not die for sin. And that Jesus is not the lamb who taketh away the sin of the world. It is an insult to Christ---and a REJECTION OF THE CROSS.
I would love to hear your arguements to this--and hear your side--I am open minded and do not hate anyone.

I do not hate those who are deceived by the roman cult... that would be against The Word and Will of God... But I despise the teaching and "tradition" that keeps so many from hearing The Truth of The Salvation Message.
It is also historical fact that most all of the great atrocities committed in the name of Christians have been instigated by the Roman cult, not True Christians. Many millions have been killed at the command of the roman pope.

I am personally not a Catholic, or even Christian, but I do not want to state my belief. I do not hate ALL Catholics. But I do know that Catholics hate me. I do not know who has wronged you but have you or someone you know wronged us? I am not in a cult, yet I am classified in a cult by many Christians. I know I am not a Christian, but I have done nothing, and people like me have actually been attacked BY catholics.
A few years ago, a kid who wasn't Catholic or christian was attacked by Catholic boys with ice picks.
So maybe this is a circle. You may not hate me, or any of us, but you KNOW someone who does. Your religion is not as hated as you may think.

I don't think anybody hates the Catholic people, just the
Catholic Church. It teaches too many man-made traditions instead of Jesus being the way, the truth, and the life.

I don't hate you, or your church. My mother is a Catholic, as I was too. I just don't agree with any religion being God's word. They are all flawed, man-made nonsense.
You Catholics are so gullible, you worship statues, fabricated saints, and biblical characters who need not be adored....based on your own doctrine. Yours is definitely a big cult. My opinion, regarding Catholicism, is not hate. I hate radical Islam though. I think they should all be rounded up and "taken cared of".

It's the Church and what it has done to Sin against GOD and MAN! As for praying to Mary, Shame on you, if you really followed the Bible you would knoww better than to do that!
The Bible says there is only one way to Heaven
Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." (John 14:6)
NOT MARY or any of the SAINTS!
