It's not pleasing to think that we only get one chance. Since we are made of matter and we have studied the stuff extensively enough to make it seem as though chemical processes can explain life I'd say that it's not likely for there to be an afterlife, that is, a living afterlife. After I die the matter that I was comprised of will still exist, and so my afterlife will probably just be a dead body.

I believe in an afterlife, i am a proud faithful person to the Asatru religion, aka heathenry, rarely acceptable to be called a pagan religion. I believe in the great halls and worlds like Hel, no its not a place of punishment its a place where most people go who die like a regular person, and i believe in valhalla and so on. I also believe that it is possible for the other religions to be right and for their afterlives to be real as well. What we do in life echoes in eternity.

Yes I believe in an afterlife for those who has accepted God as their personal savior. Heaven starts after you die, if you have done all you can on earth to get there.

Alot of people will respond either fanatically to this question, or sarcastically. Good question. I do indeed believe that there is an afterlife.
as one man stated "We are already dead. We just don't know it yet."
What if this is truly the afterlife we are living? What if our lives have already passed, and we fail to recognize it? This could be a very deep question for very deep people.
Life..reality..Its all that you make it. If you want to believe you are alive, then by all means. If you want to believe you might actually already be dead..go for it. But if the belief of reincarnation is true..
How many times have we already died?

lets look at it this way
we die then if those who say there was they will say forever ''i told you so
if they were wrong they just die and nothing
aethiests are on a beating to no where [if they are right there will be no one to boast to }
but they are wrong,
earth is but a midway house between heaven and hell ,it has bits of each [the real heaven is so much better than the best of the best here on earth
and hell is eternally and infernally worse
