my ex whitnessed it several times and so has my family. And now I wanna deal with it cause my ex moved out and this thing picks on me everynight at 2 am ..... No freaken idea why????

Find a Christian who understands how to exercise spiritual authority in the name of Jesus.
Have you had involvement in the occult?

Two ideas:
1. Get your local cops interested. Get them to have an officer there for a couple of mornings around that time. Perhaps there is a human component quite invisible to you. (I once played a naughty prank with a laser beam and hidden speaker, and convinced 2 terrified people they had experienced something supernatural).
2. In the improbable event it is supernatural, contact a Catholic priest. It does not matter if you are not Catholic. The Roman Catholic priesthood has had centuries worth of experience, across the globe, dealing with such thigs. They can sort out supernatural from other phenomenon, and actually know some arcane things which could help you. I won't go into specifics (though I could). Just believe me, and get into contact with one - after option 1 above.
I am an atheist, but know from a little bit of experience that this is one use the Roman Catholic priesthood serves well.

I believe in good spirits and bad spirits. And 'ghosts' that scare, bother, try to get your attention are demon spirits. Moving to some place the spirit could follow you where you move. Because it is a spirit that you might have dug up, or wants you.
This can be dangerous in time. And you will have to get professionals to Analyze your home to determine if the Catholic church needs to get involved for an exorcism. I wouldn't wait too long to call for someone to look into this.
Edit: I wouldn't try to get rid of the spirit alone. Because it could cause you to become possessed. So just becareful and call someone that knows what to do.

Get a priest to cleanse the house. You can also try a psychic but be forewarned that most psychics are fakes. Try to find one with a good history of cleansing homes.
Is there a connection between you and the ghost? It could be a past lover (from a past life) that you may have angered. Look into it.
Also look up the history of your home. See if anything dire happened there. It can give you a little insight.

You need an electo-magnetic trap and a nulear proton pack.!!! Just kidding :) !!! I've never experienced anything like that in my life, so I don't know what it could or could not be. But the common solution that I've read about or have seen on documentaries is to have an exorcist bless your house or ward off the spirit. I don't know anything about hauntings except for what I've seen on "Ghost Hunters"... I don't know how the religious stuff with holy water or scripture reciting works against it or even why hauntings even occur but the exorcisms seem to do the trick.

You'll need to be a bit more specific. What types of phenomena are you experiencing?
If you're convinced it's a ghost, there are some "home remedies" you can try. Burning sage has been known to eject ghosts from a location. Also, tossing a handful of rock salt in the four corners of a room seems to render that place clean as well. I can't vouch for their scientific validity, but there does seem to be some amount of reliability behind them.
It would be VERY helpful if you could capture some of the phenomena on audio or video, so others could see what you're talking about.

Some cogent questions. Do you know how you came to be involved with this apparition? If so you may need help from a christian who knows the Spirit who made all things (knows his name) and can ask for you to be relieved. However you must also want that.
If you do not then you can find relief yourself with out any other corporeal assistance.
First think (do not say out loud) "Spirit who made everything that was made please send your servants to relieve me of this apparition that troubles me also please tell me your name." Then say out loud using the name that you believe you were just given say"spirits who love the name of (use the name you were given) in the name of (again the name you were given) please come near and drive the spirits of evil from my presence. Please in the name of (again the name you were given) continue to stay with me and keep the spirits of evil away. You probably will not see or hear anything. Continue to use this method for as long as you live. It also can give you personal miracles and as you learn the will of (The Name) you will be able to pray for many things. Also in thought ask (name) to come into your life and guide you in whatever you do and say.

No, you are not crazy, many people see ghosts. I even saw a ghost many years ago. It may be real but only because it is being created by the minds of the people who believe it is there.
Change the way you see the ghost. Imagine it is friendly, maybe like casper. or realize that you are creating it and it will go away.
