We took our youth group to a youth conference this past weekend and one of the pastors was talking about a girl that was so full of the Lords presence that she was just weeping uncontrollably and speaking in tongues and the teacher told her to go to the bathroom and do whatever she needed to do to "fix" herself. Two of her friends went in there to check on her and they too were filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in tongues and weeping. Then, it spread all over; there were 60 people full of the Holy Spirit. I was wondering if anyone else heard that and if so, is there a website with that info on it, or a newspaper? Also, it was the same day as the Virginia Tech Massacre.

If you're going to bash speaking in tongues or anything else please just don't answer.
And to clarify what someone else put; you don't have to have an interpreter of tongues when it's ur prayer language.
That's where people get mixed up with tongues. There is a difference between giving a word in tongues and just praying in your own private prayer language. If there is a word spoke in tongues yes, you do have to a have an interpreter. Anyway, If someone heard of this and there is a newspaper article or any thing else, I would like to read it. Thank you.

No, I have heard nothing about it. I know it's possible and certainly not from satan.

Tongue Speaking of today is not the tongue speaking of the Bible.
Tongue Speaking of the Bible:

Spoken in a known language. Acts 2:8
No confusion allowed. I Cor. 14:33
Were understood. Acts 2:6; I Cor. 14:19
Were edified. I Cor. 14:26
Confirmed the word. Acts 10:46;Heb. 2:3-4
Sign to unbelievers. I Cor. 14:22
Prayed for interpretation. I Cor. 14:13
Spoke to benefit hearers. I Cor. 14:9

Did it make the news or something?
Seriously Im trying to be serious.
Yet you said one of the pastors told you this.
So this means unless we know the pastor or were there with you then how could most of the general population know about it?
I mean it would be cool if it made the news. I would read it.

It makes me wonder about it because you didn't say anything about an interpretation of what was being said. Paul was saying that there would be an interpreter.

Apparently no one has heard of it from an independent source and this group has heard of everything

Well wouldn't the atheists like it that way. So easy! You could get it and still be lazy.

Speaking in tongues (glossolalia) predates Christianity and is no different than a Voodoo trance.

Quit looking for it because you're never going to find it because I'm sure it didn't happen.
