If you dont know that nature is horrible, then turn on the TV and watch any nature special involving big predators, like crocs or the big cats.

Watch the beautiful gazelle get its throat ripped out by a massive Lion. Watch a swan get crunched by an ugly croc with nefarious all-seeing eyes.

Heck, It wasnt that long ago that humans made a reliable meal for the Saber-tooth tiger, or even modern tiger. Even with guns, humans in India get swallowed-up by tigers stalking them from behind, which is why they wear masks backwards to make the tiger think their backs arent their backs (Tigers dont fight fair).

Savage savage savage! Thats God's "nature", and you wish to claim that God's savage nature doesnt reflect on God? Wait wait....dont tell me....its all part of the horribly unjust aftermath of ignorant Adam falling into God's trap. Adam was to ignorant to know anything, so we cant call his actions a mistake because that implies so frame of reference for mistakes!

I have been told by Christians, that they would be saddenned by the end to death! Is this sickness in all Christians? What if science could eventually bring the dead back to healthy life? Would this not bring joy to the rest of us? What is up with this death worship? Is that what being a Christian is all about? No wonder there are suicides and killings in this life! How many other religions worship the fact that we have to die and can't see past that?

JW's, Unitarians, Christadelphians, and other antichrist cult disciples love to "challenge" real Christians to either prove the Trinity or deny it. I'm wondering when they'll ask us to do something difficult. How can one deny something that is as plain as the nose on their face? The Word if FULL of the Trinity. Father, Son and Holy Spirit, one God in three persons, equal in power and glory. And why do they get angry when ample Scriptureproof is provided?

The commission of Christ to make disciples of people of every nation, baptizing them in THE NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit is an absolutely blatant reference to the triune God. And this is but the tip of the "iceberg". There is an entire mountain of evidence showing that God cannot be anything other than a triad.

From a purely logical standpoint, if God is love, whom did God love before he created the angels and men? Love must be reciprocated. A monad cannot reciprocate love -- only two or more can.

some suggest that God created the heaven and the earth and all the stuff on the earth including us. Now i don't want an argument as to whether he actually did, save that for later, i just want to know what you think he could have done better that might have made the planet better or more interesting?

The kiddies can ride the dinosaurs that came over on the ark, watch video of Jews suffering and dying in the Holocaust because they didn't "obey God". Read the sign at the room with videos of the Holocaust: http://www.flickr.com/photos/101293...

I know and love may Christians but anyone who would traumatize their children with this nonsense or believe in any of its twisted viewpoints is no friend of mine. Only a tax-evading, money-hungry extremist pig would have created this horrorshow of a museum. Free speech is hampered when something this dangerous is erected. Even the movie theaters have ratings. Might as well build a nuclear power plant and set off test missiles in the middle of NYC - oh, wait, we already did that in NV, didn't we?

Shame, America. Corruption everywhere

"So far as we can tell from Scripture, the present hell, Hades, is somewhere in the heart of the earth itself. It is also called "the pit" (Isa. 14:9, 15: Ezek. 32:18-21) and "the abyss" (Rev. 9:2). . . the Biblical descriptions are quite matter of fact. The writers certainly themselves believed hell to be real and geographically ‘beneath’ the earth’s surface. . .
To say this is not scientific is to assume science knows much more about the earth’s interior than is actually the case. The great ‘pit’ [hell] would only need to be about 100 miles or less in diameter to contain, with much room to spare, all the forty billion or so people who have ever lived, assuming their "spiritual" bodies are the same size as their physical bodies."
(Henry M. Morris, The Bible Has the Answer, p. 220)
Suffice to say, the inner core could easily incarcerate every lost soul since Adam, with room to spare for the angels mentioned in 2 Peter 2:4 and Jude 1:6.

Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
Isaiah 5:14
Another very interesting aspect of the inner core was recently discovered by Harvard Geophysicst Adam Dziewonski. The Harvard Gazette carried an article titled, Putting a New Spin on Earth's Core, rcording Dr. Dziewonski’s unusual discovery:

The metallic core of our planet is spinning faster than the rest of it, according to evidence unearthed by Harvard geologists. And this hellishly hot core, almost as big as the moon, apparently is growing in size.
(Cromie, William J. Putting a New Spin on Earth's Core, Harvard Gazette, )

Hmmm. . . "This hellishly hot core. . . is growing in size."

Seems like I’ve read somewhere that "hell hath enlarged herself. . . "

Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
Isaiah 5:14
After ridiculing the Bible’s picture of hell, Shawna Vogel admits science "also hears the rumble of the fire in the earth" in her book, Naked Earth:The New Geophysics:

Today’s scientists also hear the rumble of fire within the earth, though not as Anaxagoras encountered it. They know that it isn’t the crack of lightening from subterranean clouds or the roar of beats within, but the sound of molten rock. No longer the stuff of myth, the earth’s internal cracks and pops have become state-of-the art tools.
(Vogel, Shawna. Naked Earth:The New Geophysics, p. 5)
Make no mistake about it – there is something down there. And it’s no massive ball.

In conclusion, it must be emphasized we do not at present fully understand the workings of the Earth’s dynamo. . . there are many unanswered questions.
(J. A. Jacobs, Deep Interior of the Earth, p. 111)
"Of all regions of earth none invites speculation more than that which lies beneath our feet, and in none is speculation more dangerous; yet, apart from speculation, it is little that we can say regarding the constitution of the interior of the earth.
(Bruce A. Bolt, Inside the Earth, p. 10)

According to Jesus Christ the souls of tormented people, weeping, screaming, wailing, and gnashing their teeth, are "Really at the Center of the Earth?"

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Jesus Christ, Matthew 10:28

And in hell he lift up his eyes. . .
Jesus Christ, Luke 16:23

Jesus Christ says in Mark 9:43-47:

43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
Jesus Christ took hell so serious — He could say without the slightest hesitation — to remove your eye, cut off your hand or foot, if that would keep you out of hell!

If hell is not real — Jesus Christ was the most deceived man that ever lived!

I’ll challenge anyone to read the words of Jesus Christ and tell me they are the words of a deceived man!

Jesus Christ knew exactly what He was talking about!

Jesus Christ spoke more on hell than any other subject.

No wonder Jesus Christ said in Mark 8:36:

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Mark 8:36:
God has something far better than words can describe for those who love Him. I Corinthians 2:9 says:

Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.
Corinthians 2:9
Friend, there is a place called hell! And, if you continually refuse God's gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ — just as sure as you live and breathe — ONE DAY YOU WILL WAKE UP IN HELL!

Don't wait until you die to find out the truth about Hell! Tomorrow may be too late! Proverbs 27:1 says, "Boast not thyself of tomorrow: for thou KNOWEST NOT what a day may bring forth."

Three people die every second, 180 every minute, since you started reading this — 2000 more people have gone into eternity! An automobile accident. . . A heart attack. . , A stroke. . .One thing is CERTAIN — you will DIE — today. . . tomorrow . . . a week. . . a month . . . a year. . . 5 years. . . 10 years. . . 20 years. . . 50 years — ONE THING IS CERTAIN —" . . .it is appointed unto man once TO DIE

Hear me out now. In the Bible, God would intervene and lead countries to greatness, but he can also let the country have a downfall. Here's my theory, meant to disrespect no one. On a regular basis, Conservatives consider more religious beliefs in politics dealing with ethical laws, more than Liberals do, usually. So, since we've taken God out of so much, maybe he's gonna let us elect a Liberal president, so we can fall flat on our faces, because he wants everyone to honor Him in everything they do? It's just a THEORY, not attempting to make anyone mad!! Thanks for your answers in advance. :)

Check out this article published on the Yahoo web site. I asked a question about it before and my question was deleted within five minutes. Apparantly there are some Catholics who can't discuss things like mature responsible adults. They have to falsely report me for violating the terms of Yahoo Answers which I am not doing.
Also, I think it is ridiculous that Yahoo would publish this article on their web site and then not allow me to ask a question about it.
What do you think?

Currently there are thosands of frozen dead humans, waiting for the day science is able to bring them back. If/when this happens, are we ready to throw away religion? I mean, if death is supposed to be the entry point to hell or heaven, no way God would simply let us ressurect people out of hell would he?

Your rationalizing arent ya...your thinking "oh but that could still be part of his plan!" Oh yea? So he invented heaven and hell knowing we could eventually either substantially delay entry, or permanently. I mean, imagine itm if we ever get the technology, then wealthy people could concievably live for thosands of years or "re-enter" after each no medical innovation solves their last problem.

What if we terform Mars, in other words, we pull a "God" and "create" an atmosphere and bring life to the planet...can we then make toliet paper of all the books with the stupid "adam" story?

A 16-year old girl died on Saturday after falling 40-50 feet from a ride called Air Glory. Please understand, I think this is a horrific tragedy, but Christians, please explain, without the "god's will" party line, how a loving god could allow this to happen at a festival devoted to Christianity? It could not have been this girl's "free will" to die like that.
How do you reconcile something like this with your faith? Where is your god when such a thing happens?

If it does, please quote the scripture(s) for me. I was born and raised Catholic, but I am not an active member of any religion or church, neither is my husband. My mother in law is Baptist, and she calls my husband and I 3-4 times a week to tell us that we are not living right and we will go to hell when we die because we don't go to church. She hasn't found the scripture(s) that state this...maybe you can. Thanks.

INDIA (Newsroom) – Six Christian missionaries participating in a gospel campaign called "Love Ahmedabad" were beaten so savagely in the state of Gujarat last week that one of the men may lose his arms and legs.

Members of the Hyderabad-based Operation Mobilization (OM) were distributing Bibles and religious tracts in Ahmedabad, about five miles from Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat, the afternoon of May 5 when they were attacked by members of the Hindu extremist groups Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP). Operation Mobilization ships tons of Christian literature around the country. The assailants also burned copies of the Bible and tracts.

Christian missionaries beaten in public for 'converting' Hindus

Television channels showed Hindu activists kicking and punching the two young priests while dragging them through Maharashtra's Kolhapur town.

News footage showed an activist knee one priest in the groin, making him double up in pain. Another kicked the missionary in the head. The crowd accused the priests of forcibly converting poor Hindus, and handed them over to police.

500 BC BUDDHA, THE WORD (The Eightfold Path)
THE FOUR NOBLE TRUTHS

THUS has it been said by the Buddha, the Enlightened One: It is through not understanding, not realizing four things, that I,
Disciples, as well as you, had to wander so long through this round of rebirths. And what are these four things? They are the Noble Truth of Suffering, the Noble Truth of the Origin of Suffering, the Noble Truth of the Extinction of Suffering, the Noble Truth of the Path that leads to the Extinction of Suffering.
