you sound like maybe you have run into some "wannbe" Christians, or some really immature ones. Christianity is about having a personal relationship with THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE, through Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I know it may sound impossible, or crazy, or unbelievable, and frankly, it is pretty AWESOME. It is so awesome, we Christians want to spread the word. It is the most fantastic life you could ever imagine. Once you believe, your eyes become "open" and the light which Christ provides shows you how hopeless and empty life is without Him. We just want to share the love of Christ and hopefully lead you towards Him. It has to be YOUR choice. He wants you even if you don't want Him, but He will not force you. He also will not force you from making the wrong choice of spending eternity in : HELL.

There is a HUGE difference between believing in God (Satan BELIEVES in God) and having a personal relationship with Christ.

They think they are the first ones to ask that question, and that it's so clever. Instead, they are the 10000th person, and the question is completely illogical.

Not many have that attitude.

Just to clarify, it is not cool to call people stupid, especially when you don't punctuate your sentences correctly, spell correctly, use capital letters, etc.
It doesn't make you appear to be that bright.

It is kind of like building a bomb shelter tody like they did in the sixties just in case Russia bombs us. Or better still it is like wearing gas masks all the time just in case someone exposes us to a poisonus gas.

It does sound like something Eddie Izzard would think up, don't it?

"Oh, I'm dead, and there are these gates here..."

"Only those who Believe may pass, do you believe".

"umm....Yes"

"Oh, alright, come on in..."

It's amusing - like they think God wouldn't know atheists were faking it. Doesn't say much for those Christians' respect for God or faith.
