That's the problem with the Bible..If it were right, probably 90-95% of the world would go to hell if we all died right now.

You would be better off if you did. But there are too many who think that they know what God's opinion is and are wrong. So you have to account for the erroneous ideas of those who don't have it right, including yourself.
I'm thinking that you don't pay much attention to what is written in the Bible. You need to read it comprehensively in order to understand it. Know first of all that it wasn't written in English. And you would want many sources of interpretation in order to get to know which is right. How are you going to do that until you study?
