Where does negativity come from? (leave religion OUT of your answer)?

I asked this question before and got answers from very religous people using religion and God as a main argument...and that's fine I'd just like to hear what atheists or other people who do not wish to include religion in their answer....so:

Where does all of this negative and hateful energy come from?

it comes from everyone wanting to be Superior to everyone else. the fact is no one can PROVE or DISPROVE that one religion is more right than another. that's i think it infuriates people to the point that they just use what they can to put another down...

No. Nor can you answer on where all of these negative and hateful energies come from if you are ignorant of the story of mankind from the very beginning. Bad energy does have a beginning. Are you willing to examine the whole story or just the part that tickles" your" beliefs?

Negative comes from Satan since he went on a power trip, and thought perhaps he can over take God..... so he was thrown out of heaven.
Perhaps after that happened, God used it as part of his plan, since we have free will and that positive learning can come from negative. God knows in time we all have the abilities to change. Are spirits are here for training, since life is a temporary assignment, it takes faith to live on earth as a foreigner.

Present negativity is deep rooted offense that comes from past bitterness and resentment that has not been dealt with properly at the moment and time it was brought forth. It was ignored and never nurtured to heal, so it festered into a raging scar that with even the slightest nick or scratch, could ooze out anger and negativity towards innocent people.

So how to avoid being presently bitter? Get to the root and don't get so offended at others and learn how to love one another. Unattended offense leads to bitterness, and bitterness leads to hate, and hate leads to ... suffering (good ole' Master Yoda).

I refrained myself from mentioning the Almighty. How'd I do?

it's all energy, negative or positive, or neutral, it's science. we have the ability to feel and give off energy. It's physiology.

Isn't religion something having to do with spiritualism? I thought atheists were weren't religious. Doesn't it make more sense to ask this question in the science and physics dept or psychology?

I think it's just some peoples nature.....

it's how some react to stressfull sitations i think........ and other people stress others with there hate and negativity... and it spreads.....

It's like a ripple in water.... just not a very nice one lol... i would say some people are like rocks... braking the ripple... but in the case of a rock it bounces it back.... and while some people are like that... i rather mean to say some people just take it and deal with it in positive ways...geting rid of the negitivty rather than sending it on to some one else
