Do what?

"Dominus Iesus," which riled Protestant and other Christian denominations because it said they were not true churches but merely ecclesial communities and therefore did not have the "means of salvation."

The commentary repeated church teaching that says the Catholic Church "has the fullness of the means of salvation."

"Christ 'established here on earth' only one church," said the document released as the pope vacations at a villa in Lorenzago di Cadore, in Italy's Dolomite mountains.

The other communities "cannot be called 'churches' in the proper sense" because they do not have apostolic succession — the ability to trace their bishops back to Christ's original apostles — and therefore their priestly ordinations are not valid, it said.

What do you think of what the comments say? I personally found the video odd, but the comments were very interesting. Here is a sample.

U.S. Military Wanted to Provoke War With Cuba
Book: U.S. Military Drafted Plans to Terrorize U.S. Cities to Provoke War With Cuba By David Ruppe
N E W Y O R K, May 1, 2001
Font Size In the early 1960s, America's top military leaders reportedly drafted plans to kill innocent people and commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities to create public support for a war against Cuba. Code named Operation Northwoods, the plans reportedly included the possible assassination of Cuban émigrés, sinking boats of Cuban refugees on the high seas, hijacking planes, blowing up a U.S. ship, and even orchestrating violent terrorism in U.S. cities."

We had to learn about evolution in our biology class, but why can't they let us learn about creation? Wouldn't it be easier to teach both so we know both sides not just what scientists want us to know? What are your ideas about it? Should they teach both, one or the other, or not teach them at all?

This is the religion section. Why do you come here to talk about something you don't believe in? Why would you try to sway children from the right path? Do you realise you are working for satan and satan has given you logic as a tool against God?

Daniel 3:25
25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. (KJV)

I've seen LOTS of guys with the form of the son of God, mmm, those six-packs, but none of them have ever claimed to be after I told them so!

5th Commandment: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me. (Exodus 20:5)

Deut. 4:24- For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.

Such a jealous and angry entity certainly doesn't fit the definition of a god.

Catholics offered rite to cut purgatory stay
Friday, July 13, 2007BY JIM LEWISOf The Patriot-News
Charles Shriner is a religious pilgrim in a PT Cruiser, driving about 25 miles from his home town to the holy destination he seeks -- a cathedral on State Street in the city.

There, at St. Patrick Cathedral, his pilgrimage is complete. After Mass and confession, he and other pilgrims -- his wife and sister among them -- have taken advantage of a rare offer by the Roman Catholic Church to reduce their souls' time in purgatory after death.

The church is offering its 240,000 followers in central Pennsylvania a plenary indulgence that might reduce the time their souls spend in purgatory to be cleansed of their sins.

The bible as we know it was not compiled until late in the 4th century at the Synod at Hippo. Before this there were many books purported to be scripture, such as Romans II. If the early church relied on Sola scriptura they were pretty much up a creek, I would think.

I am absolutely at my wits end trying to understand some of these Christians. Why are some of these people so hateful? Tell me, does this sound like an "abomination"?

"We meditate on the transcendental glory of the Deity Supreme, who is inside the heart of the Earth, inside the life of the sky and inside the soul of the heaven. May He stimulate and illuminate our minds."

This is what the Hindu prayer was that caused such an uproar in the Senate. Was that so wrong? It was a universal prayer?? what is so wrong? I don't want to hear anything about "seperation of religion/state" whatever...if that were true, those Christian people wouldn't have jumped up started praying for their lives or something. Anyone, religion or not, can you find anything offensive about this?
