God hears all prayers of those that confess Him and believe in HIm and obey Him. HE wont hear the prayer of a sinner, unless they are praying to change their life and give it to God , to repent for their sins......
Why is there still such horror in the world. Well, we live in a world pretty much apart from God, and there is curse in this world due to disobedience. Bible tells all about it, and most wont obey what they hear, even the believers. God will end all suffering, and one day all will know He is God. But God says He will not bless a nation that abandons Him Look around you, do we seem like a godly nation?? I think not. God will only allow someone to die when it is their time to go, and He always has HIs reasons. we may grieve, but that person will go on to heaven with no more sorrorw or pain, no more tears, if they are Gods. There is hunger in the world due to greed. There are awful things in the world due to sinful ppl.
GOd doesnt honor murder and rape and adultry and all that, God says no to it, but ppl tend to do as they please and say Why doesnt God stop this? WHy dont they stop it and let God bless them and bring this sin thing to an end. OBedience leads to blessings God Says, and all disobedience leads to curse. SExual sins lead to the ruin of a city as in Sodom and Gomorreh, blood sins such as abortion lead toe the ruin of a nation. Look around you, what do you see on the news every night, and in your local area? PPL have abandoned God for the lies of the devil and think sin looks good and pleasureable, but it leads to misery and death. Sad part is, those of us that arent like that, have to deal with so much of the evil in the world all around us, but God will take care of us if we love Him and obey.
Its odd, all the things that ruin a person or a nation are things God says not to do, yet when its done and gets sooo bad, ppl say Why doesnt God stop this????
talk about having blinders on just like God says.
Remove the blinders folks, get back to God and watch things get better. But this is all prophesied and its all going down just as the Bible predicts. Jesus is coming sin.
You mentioned someone dying before their time. ok.
a murder perhaps, thats not of God. Curse is awful.
a disease. All disease comes from a curse somewhere no matter how far back. What if its suicide? Well God is against that too. But God can and will break curse if we turn from sin and in the name of Jesus ask Him to break it. tho sometimes God will allow suffering as HE did with Job to show us that only HE can end it and that when we suffer , we draw closer to Him. we will be tested and tried to see who is really HIs. He already knows, but one day He will show us this is why you werent saved, and all proof will be laid before us. OR we go to heaven and know why we go thru tooo, thru obedience and lvoe to God.
So if you want God to hear your prayer, begin to know Him, Study His word, pray and ask Him to be real to you. OBey what He already shows you and ask for more. YOu will be blessed to overflow. ITs a journey that has incredible blessings along the way, with Heaven your reward. OOOH dont take a chance on not having this. ITs worth checking into.

Of course God hears prayers...but sometimes the answer is "no"! In addition, there's this little thing called "free will".
I happen to be watching MASH today and I immediately recalled a sermon by Father Mulcahey (sp?) in which he said, "God didn't put us here for that pat on the back. He created us so he could be here himself. So that he could exist in the lives of those he created in his image." If all people lived by that, there would be no hunger or war.
Pain and suffering are natural consequences for choices we make and choices made by other people. A person that chooses to drink and drive may kill an innocent bystander...is it God's fault that a drunk makes a bad decision? Certainly a God that created the universe would have the power to stop everyone from making choices that would hurt themselves and others...but if he did, we would all be no more than slaves (more like robots). God didn't create man to be his slaves...he created us to be like him...to be his friends.
As for accidents that take people "when it is not their time to go", how exactly is that time determined? When will it be your time to go? One certainty is that we ALL leave this world through death and no one knows exactly when that time is until it happens (you may know it is coming, but the exact time is a mystery).

God does hear prays but Peter told God that 100,000 prays a day was enough for any thing to answer. God is 42 000 000 years behind because of all the monks and nuns praying 24 hours a day. How ever good news, every 600 years Peter empties the old pray filing cabinets out and starts again. When this happens there will be .000001 of a second before the days 100,000 prays are received in heaven if you are lucky enough to get a pray in that time Bobs your uncle.

"why is there pain and suffering and hunger and war and people dying and why do our loved ones die ? does he take them to end their suffering if they were ill ? or why do people get tragically killed when it is not their time to go ? "
Because God doesn't exist. Everything I've quoted above (hope you don't mind, Smiler) is proof of this.

God hears prayers. He answers too. You just have to listen. We are all sinners. When we see stuff like that we just think " It's all just Gods fault". But the truth is it isn't. It is ours. It is sorta like God is covering us with an umbrella on a windy day. He has the strength to not let it fall but you keep moving the opposite direction from where he is. He lets go of the umbrella to remind you you are moving. Then we blame us moving on him. He is our father teaching us a lesson. We can choose to take it or leave it. We always have a choice. We always have a choice to live our life our way and suffer, or live through His way and thive. Your decision.

GOD IS REAL. God is soverign... I dont think anyone can totally answer your question but God. The only answer I have been able to muster up is that the world is full of people that don't love each other. I know that sounds like a cop out... btu that is as close to an answer as Ive been able to come up with. I agree with spirit_shurtugal, read that book!
Ill be praying for you!

I would be the first one to say that God hears our prayers...absolutely..
...and this may seem harsh, but who can tell God what it is that He should do with His own creations...
...I mean, He's got dibs on us first and if He wants to call us home, well...
...God sees and know of the suffering, fo' sure..there's something more going on that we just can't grasp. Its like reading 5 lines of a 1000 page novel and then trying to explain the entire book to someone

Case for Faith is a good place to start.
I've always believed that God DOES hear our prayers and answers accordingly. Jesus gave us an example of how to pray in the book of Matthew. Prayers like his are the best...not just "God help me pass this test," or "God grant me that new job." God wants us to recongnize that he'll meet our every need within His will. (I won't get into Predestination vs. Free Will here and am not trying to bring it into play.) When there's a need and God needs to fill it, He will. So now why do bad things happen? His will! Throughout the Bible we see God punishing people because of their faith in Him. Not every case is like this. God lets certain trials and tribulations come to individuals to grow them and shape them to who they are to become. How do you now it's not their time to go? I'd rather be in heaven at age 20 when I'm supposed to then live to age 90 and be miserable. Everything happens for a reason and within God's timing, whether we realize it or not--we'll come to realize it in His time.

A god that will hear prays is just an invention of religious leaders. If pray is to help you then you must believe that there is god listening. this gives the person praying comfort and some hope which can be helpful.

Hello and yes but there is a condition for God to hear you, it is you must hear Him, in Proverbs 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer [shall be] abomination. If we keep sin and will not turn from it, if we are hanging on to any known sin He will not hear, find out more free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org God bless.
