How do you explain ghosts, in a scientific way? If there is one.?

I dont believe in supernatural things because I have never seen it and believe everything can be explained scientifically. I heard somewhere that ghosts might just be images of people you seen throughout your life being projected in your mind making you see "ghosts" and etc...

We know that electromagnetic fields can cause changes in your brain. Some interesting experiments have been done that cause people to feel certain kinds of things (like a person being in the room when nobody's there) when stimulated in certain ways. A very specific high-intensity electromagnetic field is currently being used as a treatment for depression in some places.

We also know that there are all kinds of such fields all around us. We lie within the influence of the Sun and the Earth's fields, not to mention all the wires and other things lying around. Flows of magma and geological formations might cause the fields in even very narrow regions to be significantly different from neighboring ones.

That these accidental fields can influence human thought has not been demonstrated, but it's not too far a leap as to consider the hypothesis implausible. It is implausible that -everything- has some kind of electromagnetic field or can be imprinted by such fields. That's just demonstrably not so.

That's where I might allocate ghosts in a scientific sense if I were looking for them. I'm sure there are other pet theories that some have as well (multiple universes, ESP, etc).

I have never seen or heard anything that even remotely suggested that ghosts actually exist. The closest thing I have seen is when electromagnetic radiation affects the brain (in a controlled experiment), creating the sensation of an unseen "presence" nearby.

There is a scientific explaination of "ghosts" that is quite interesting...

There is a theory that under certain atmospheric conditions, and in certain geological situations, that events get "recorded" (like a phonograph) in geological structures... then under the right atmospheric conditions, those recordings are played back. I'll look for the web link...

ghosts are residual energy
that is an energy that is left over , imprinted in the atmospehere ... just like a memory
if the energy has been so strong in a certain place then it can not only be felt but seen
it isnt a conscious energy and will just repeat actions that were most commonly done in life
thats why ghosts will walk through doors that are no longer there , walk on roads that are long since covered up etc

although I believe in spirits , I dont confuse them with ghosts

As simple as I can put it - We are energy, energy never dies. So when the body dies, what happens to the energy. maybe the energy is what's considered our spirits. Who really knows? but it's fun to think about, and speculate.

my 2 cents:
they are living entities thats exist in another dimension that most humans can't see or experience. like they can be in the same area as me but i don't notice it because i can't sense it. kinda like how humans can't see inthe ultraviolet but other animals can.
