Daniel 3:25
25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. (KJV)
I've seen LOTS of guys with the form of the son of God, mmm, those six-packs, but none of them have ever claimed to be after I told them so!

Hmmm... weird how Mommy's basement-dweller below me can curse on here like no one else can! Only reality is that when he's not masturbating to Full House, playing San Andreas or killing small animals he must work as a Yahoo moderator!

OK, Nebuchadnezzar then. Did Nebuchadnezzar's lust for Jesus start the rumor that Jesus was the son of God?

Uh, sorry, MT-B!!! I don't get it! Yes, I the almighty Vercetti, do NOT get most of your question. It's a shock, I know. Were you *ahem* intoxicated while writing it, because, believe ME, I know how THAT can be!! Heh-heh-...heh...
But, PLEEZE don't knock San Andreas! It's all that stands between me and going postal sometimes...I mean really laying into all the fundies, and rethugs and child abusing "pillars (there's a reason they call 'em that!) of society"! Don't take the one thing that lets me release my raging anger without a trip to the joint...ya know?
LOL! YOU crack me up...and as for Daniel & Jesus...if they wanna get hitched, they can do it RIGHT here, in good old, commie, pinko Massachusetts! WE, the ones who started the Revolution, liberating us from the British...the same ones who brought you Abbie Hoffman and the Birth Control Pill...are the SAME ones who bring you LEGAL gay marriage.
I applaud this state and won't leave it 'til it's underwater!

No. The term "Son of God" is a much "older" one, even in the time Daniel lived and comes from what the ancient Pharaohs of Egypt CALLED themselves. Pharoahs thought of themselves as being "genetic" Sons of the Lord of Creation, "Atum-Re" (old kingdom name) / "Amen-Ra" (new kingdom name), as "such" GODS ON EARTH (GOE). It is PART of christian MISCONCEPTION that "Jesus" taught the faith of Judaism when in FACT, he was teaching the principles of the ancient EGYPTIAN "faith........" Daniel at the time he was alive was of a sect of Israelites that was of the faithful of "Amen" not "Yahuh" and IS why Jesus made reference to his writings. Contrary to popular belief, not all the Israelites believed the same from one tribe to the next and don't know if Daniel said this in his book but you have to remember the faith of Egypt was about 2600 years old BEFORE Judaism even became an organized religion.

It's hard to believe how incredibly Biblically illiterate some of you irreligious are. The quote is from the pagan king Nebuchadnezzar, not Daniel.
Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, "Weren’t there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?" They replied, "Certainly, O king." He said, "Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods."
Have any of you irreligious types bothered to actually read the Bible in the context in which it is written?
I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.

Oh... that was a reference to the three guys in the furnace... and the fourth person is God... Another story in the bible that shows how humans put their imagination to use!

officially Jesus never claimed to be the son of god. It wasn't until the other Gospels were written that he was considered the son of god.

LOL Eat your cookie!
Yes, the reference is to God in the fiery furnace with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. No mention of six packs or buns of steel though! You are barking up the wrong cookie.

The Book of Daniel is a horror movie version of recent history narrated as if it hadn't happened yet.
So of course the leading man was fit. Who would you like to see in the remake?

No Jesus is just combined stories of Horus, Attis, Dionysus, and other ancient sun-gods that were around thousands of years before Jesus...
