Jesus was sinless in life. He did take on the sins of the world as a sacrifice. Jesus death was the punishment for all mankind. When Jesus ascended back to Heaven and layed down the blood sacrifice, God the father accepted it.

Is this a trick question? Jesus was pure and without sin which made Him the perfect sacrifice for our sins.

Jesus is God, so He is perfect and without sin. He was the perfect sacrifice.

Jesus Christ was/is sinless. God resurrected Jesus, because Jesus didn't deserve torture and death even though Jesus bore our sins and nailed them to the cross. God bless.

no need of forgiveness. And it is by him that we are forgiven
and have access to the Father, God.
