Um, hi how is is going? Just a quick question, no offense to anyone. Like to all the people who don't believe in God, like...how do you know God isn't real?

I mean I'm not saying you are wrong, the bible could have been written by a drunk guy, but that doesn't mean he isn't real.

Where is the following verse, the words of Jesus, to be found?

"Merchants, your trinkets are mockery. Your toys of superficial wealth is a burden to be aware of. I knock them to the ground and I trample upon them. I care not for the damage inflicted upon my feet by the blades and razors of the broken shells. Your limbs of mire smear wounds onto our pathways, while you etch out our eyeballs in hopes of glorifying the pupil."

The mammoth is estimated to be 10,000 years old but creationists claim the earth was created by God less than 10,000 years ago.
There are also fossils all over the world and paintings in Australia which seem to indicate homosapien existed on that continent up to 60,000 years ago.

One quick question. I used to have severe allergies (not uncommon to be on 3 medications at once and still suffer, once in a while also take prednisone for them) Then around the end of May I prayed and asked God to help me with my allergies. I visited my mom 2x and did not even sneeze around her cats. I have been living in Vegas for over a month (moved from Reno, both towns generally have the same allergens), and have not taken any allergy medication in almost a month and a half (no Allegra, no Zrytec, no Nasarel, even no Singulair). If that isn't God who cured me, then how else could I be symptom free this long without medication? Does anyone else have any amazing testomonies to miracles God has done in your lives?

PS. God has also changed me as a person inside and out (also known as born again or spiritual birth).

Islam teaches to respect all prophets including Mosses and Jesus without any discrimination among them. Christians respects old testements and !0 commandments of Mosses. Why then a lot of fight among these religions in the history? why do not people compromise in accepting one which respects all prophets alike and have peace on the earth without any religious conflicts?

Lets take this iraq war for example.
over 100,000 iraqi deaths for the sake of maintaining the american hegemony.

most all christians have supported the war from the beginning.
Sadaam may have not been the nicest guy, but he sure knew how to keep islamic fundamentalist idiocy at bay.

not one world leader sincerely fear(ed) an attack from iraq or north korea, neither country could put the slightest dent in any other country's infrastructure before it was met in kind with unmerciful retaliation from every other nation on this earth.

You can say that this war is to spread democracy all you want, but the truth is that we now see that a large portion of the middle east absolutely WILL NOT have it, at least not when it is pressed upon them by the U.S.

I think that when you are killing tens of thousands of people who just don't know any better, it's is just as applicable to "thou shalt not kill" as abortion might be.

what do you think?

God comes first does he not? But yet we are commanded also to love even our enemies.

What are your thoughts on this dynamic?

I know that the pink rose quartz brings love...:)

Some say that you would have to wash the crystals with salt water and never let anyone touch them. Is this true?

Hee. This is the cutest thing ever. Does anyone out there on the forums believe in her Majesty, the Invisible Pink Unicorn?

http://www.geocities.com/ipu_temple/

"The Invisible Pink Unicorns is a being of great spiritual power. We know
this because she is capable of being invisible and pink at the same time.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorn is based
upon both logic and faith. We have faith that she is pink; we logically
know that she is invisible because we can't see her."

G. A. Wells has put forward this idea, that the early christians believed not in a historical person, but a spiritual being whom they saw as the personification of wisdom.

Because of the lack of historical evidence for the existence of Jesus, and the knowledge that the writings in the gospels describe a life that reflects that of many non-christian figures from much earlier times, is this suggestion more feasible than the idea of Jesus as described in the New Testament?

Why are unbelievers so quick to attack the christian religion? To me there is no harm in believing, but great consequences in not believing.

Many Christian religions believe The Word of God is another being besides God. In fact, some religions believe Gods Holy Spirit is also another being. Therefore, they present The Word of God as a being, and The Holy Spirit as a being. They have three Gods. Is this Biblical?

Others believe that The Holy Spirit is not another God, but The Power of God. They think, in the beginning, only Christ was another being with God. Now you have two Gods, which are God, The Father, and The Word of God. Just how many Gods are there? Let The Bible tell you.

I Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

I Timothy 2:5 plainly states that there is only one God. Christ, as The Word of God, is just a Mediator between God and humanity. That is what The Bible presents to you.

Since Christ was given The Holy Spirit at birth (the same Holy Spirit made Mary pregnant), The Holy Spirit couldnt be another being because Jesus would then be The Son of The Holy Spirit and not The Son of God, The Father.

It seems to be a fairly common assumption in religious circles that atheists are inherently immoral and I have also seen religious fundamentalists regard atheists as literally demonic. In fact atheists are persecuted in the US on this basis, ranging from not being able to get a job to having their homes burned down.

Many atheists subscribe to the scientific view that humans have evolved to be as they are. From this it is very simple to see that had humans not had cooperative traits that we would never have reached humanity. In fact, all decent morality is as a direct result of evolution. We don't need a ridiculous book from the late bronze age to tell us right from wrong.

how do you perceive atheists, their morality or propensity for evil?

I'm curious about the origin of this idea as opposed to a plain old duality of the physical body and the spirit. Why would it be important or necessary to distinguish soul and spirit as two different parts?

I read the artical in my paper twice, because I could not believe what he was saying about ALL Protestants. Don't Catholics miss Pope John Paul? He was a man respected by most Christians, regardless of denomination. I think the words sent the RCC back to the middle ages, and wonder why he chose this time in history to make such an announcement.

-Heaven is where God is.
-According to scripture, God has killed innocent babies, murdered entire cultures, gambled with peoples lives, demanded complete obedience from mankind, exalted child abusers, etc., etc., etc.

Don't you think you should just get sent to prison for 5-10 years, so you can try out the whole Heaven idea, and have some idea what eternity will be like for you when you die?

Some christians (blindly) argues that people chooses to be gay, while some christians accept the fact that people are born gay but still think of it as a sin that gays should not act upon.

First of all, people are BORN gay! I'm gay myself, so I know what I'm talking about. If I really had a choice, I would not choose to be gay. Being gay is really hard emotionally, and it brings no reward.

Christians compare thiefs to gays! A thief doesn't just steal for the sake of stealing! They want money, and that's thier motive. But gays don't have any motive to be gay, there's no raward to it. Why can't christians understand common sense?

Now as for christians who accept people are born gay, but don't approve of homosexuality, what do you suggest gays to do? Are gays supposed to marry women despite not being attracted to them? If your son were born gay, would you tell him to stay sexually deprived for his entire life? It's the 21st century, hello!
