-Heaven is where God is.
-According to scripture, God has killed innocent babies, murdered entire cultures, gambled with peoples lives, demanded complete obedience from mankind, exalted child abusers, etc., etc., etc.
Don't you think you should just get sent to prison for 5-10 years, so you can try out the whole Heaven idea, and have some idea what eternity will be like for you when you die?

Lets see. For the child abuse scriptures, read the Books of Deuteronomy and Judges for starters, Then go back and read (in whatever order you prefer)

Pls give scripture reference to where he exalts child abusers... He killed entire cultures because they served false Gods! Note the word FALSE! In this question you are confirming that God is real might i add.. Where did he gamble with peoples lives? You need to grasp the concept that God is bigger than all things, He created all things.. He is not bound by time, time is in him!

To simply believe that being a believer is about whether one should get saved, try to live a good life and then go to heaven or hell is an extremely watered down view. Unfortunately, there are many believers who's enjoyment stops there and unbelievers choose to not believe the watered down view...kinda sad to base all of your beliefs on something that isn't the reality of the situation, and I am not talkin' about christians.

I can't wait until I get to Heaven. I love God. I love the God who sent his son to die on the cross so I wouldn't have to. I love the God who loved me while I was yet a sinner. I can't wait until I spend an eternity with him on the streets of gold near the crystal seas.

Did you not get to the part where Jesus came...and gave the 11th commandment to "Love one Another"....Yep I can hardly wait to get to heaven....
And your prison idea..well no thanks, I already know what to expect and even though the old testament is full of all the stuff you talked about, well...isnt that one of the main reasons God sent his son Jesus in the first place?....By the way, read Revelations...We Win!

Let me guess: You are perfect and have never done anyone any harm? You are speaking as if you are the wonderful guy who is always right and good. I suppose that I have a choice: Spend time with God or all those who aren't God who also kill people, molest children, and exalt child abusers along with themselves.

why try out the "whole heaven idea" in prison?? i would rather not spend my time off in there.
i think you need to read more of Deuteronomy pal...
heaven i think is just like the movie "what dreams may come." awesome and indescribable.

Your not the first person to go this route!
I suppose it won't be the last time I say - God is Holy, He is soveriegn, our sense of Justice and right and wrong are different to God's but because God is Holy, He is right.
