Most people narrating such experiences are neither lying, nor seeking attention or whatever.Where they probably go wrong is that they implicitly trust in what ever they recall from their memory. The sum total of their experience is so jumbled up due to subnormal state of their minds at a given point of time along with unfiltered and uncoordinated impressions recorded by various senses at random. It takes some time for the conscious mind to sort out the jumble through rationalizing and sequencing and during this process his previous beliefs, faiths and other deeply entrenched impressions assert, fill the gaps, provide justifications and help in construction of a viable ,wholesome narrative for it in a story type format.Interestingly, with passage of time the minor details, which are in fact most crucial clues, begin to fade from the memory.Had such minor details been part of real experience and not constructed later, these should have remained in the memory along with that of the experience. There are many other aspects and explanations but at this stage it should suffice to give us a'peep' on the issue at hand.

People who are near-death have an oxygen-starved brain, and hallucinate. Most of them talk about "a light" or "a tunnel of light", but they are all on a surgical table in the emergency room with a big bright light over them as they are being revived, surprise, surprise! Maybe religion started this way, from the near-deaths of very elderly, respected elders who started to hallucinate random things, which developed into random, conflicting religious views.

no i think there have been logical explanations offered but it's seems aside from anything important concerning real life .
If any one ever came forth and had a plan to save the world in detail on issues like war, economy or human rights I would lend an attentive ear.their are many important things to consider here and now beside parlor talk of heaven and hell.
please excuse my lip service to high ideas but where do things begin ?

My dad has actually been declared dead and came back. He was a practicing Catholic at the time and "expected" to see something. He told me he was surprised and disappointed that he saw nothing. I don't know for a fact that other people haven't seen anything, but I know what my dad said and I believe him.

almost dying is more traumatic than any human experience could ever be, of course these people are mistaken when they say they have had one of these experiences.
