Aids Cure: Relgious values ?

Based on an earlier question that focused merely on Christians, and one person objected to it, so let me rephrase it...

What percentage of people that have been and will be victims of Aids, would have been saved from Aids had they, or the people that infected them practices religious values ?

C'mon, you can't lie your way out of it, simply because your faith has more festivals honouring her, than Jesus! Also, in your parades of her, her graven image, is far more huge than Jesus, and not only that, but she's placed BEFORE Jesus in your parades, while He's placed last in line, no bigger than a fist, IF He's included at all!

So just WHY do Catholics break Gods' Number One Commandment by bowing down to, and worshipping a graven image? Not only that, but of a dead woman as well?

Inquiring minds wish to know.

While Paris Hilton was in jail her mother had said she had been reading the bible ALL day. Her mother also said that she answered fan mail ALL day.Paris herself even said that she read the bible. On her first interview (since her release) with Larry King , Larry asked her what her favorite part of the bible was. She thought for a while and sheepishly answered "I can't remember." Who thinks Paris will be 'changed' or who thinks jail is not enough for her?

My thoughts is our "Ark" is our Life... One that resembles the life God intended through the Bible, one that is solid, built well enough to last the storms of life, and stand firm...

Do you think this is a good testament to God's Word, or is there a better way I haven't outlined or possibly thought of...

Bible prophecy talks about the end times and how many people will fall away and depart from the faith as a sign of the times before the return of Christ.

What should be the message of Churches to this generation?

Why not serve those in need like, oh I don't know, the hungry, the elderly, why spent a lifetime in servitude of a God with no wants and needs (a being who is everything, must by definition have no wants or needs)?

OK, I asked if people felt lost not knowing what to believe. Simple. Not meant to be read into. If you know-then OMG< guess what? YOU KNOW! Thus, you will not feel lost. I am not here to challenge an Atheist, Agnostic, Christian, Muslim, Jew, Buddist, or anyone else! I even said it was not meant towards those who do not believe in god in any way! Look, if I offended you, get over it. It was a question by a person on the internet. Chill.

...and no one ever realized it? Christians, how do you know it hasn't? How do you know that the second coming of Jesus wasn't locked up and tortured in some horrific, antiquated psychiatric asylum? How do you know he wasn't killed already for trying to speak his mind?

How do you know that God hasn't already taken his, oh, what - 144,000? - and the Rapture is over? What makes you think that someone kind, generous, tolerant, and loving of all would have made it in this world? If I believed in the Bible, I would have thought by now that Jesus was either assassinated, locked up, or lived a very lonely existence amongst his own people.

Perhaps this is the apocalypse, here and now. Perhaps God tried to hold the rapture a very long time ago and nobody showed up? Why end the world now if no one will listen to his son, who preached against bigotry and intolerance and never once mentioned anything being 'wrong' with homosexuals or heathens?

What makes you so sure that your religion is right and all the other religions are wrong? You say you "know" that God exists, but you "know" he exists the same way a suicide bomber "knows" that his martyrdom will result in his glory in paradise. Think about it. Would a young muslim man take his own life unless he was positive, 100% certain that what he was doing would secure his reward in the next life? The same way you are certain of your beliefs?
I was mormon for 16 years. Every time I heard a member of the church bear their testimony, they would say how they "knew" that the church was the right one, they "knew" Joseph Smith was a prophet. Never did they say "I believe..." They "KNEW".
So what's the diffence? What makes you so sure that you are right, and millions of others who disagree with you are wrong? You all are equally certain of your beliefs. And please don't just say "well there's a bible." What makes you believe it over any other religious text? How do you know?

I'm not anti Christian. I am looking for answers. But if I believed what Christians believed, which to my understanding is this... that God created all mankind, that it was perfect, that man sinned on his own, that God judges him because of his, that Jesus intervened on his own and took the sin of mankind upon himself and became the blood sacrifice for all men who would accept him as their Lord and Savior. If I believed Jesus was the only way to live in eternity in paradise instead of a place where God would punish me for my crimes against him, I would do all I could to tell people the truth, no matter what it cost me. I would not try to make any money from this message, unless it paid for me to tell others. I would give everthing, including my own life to spread this message. I have trouble believing this message because of the lack of devotion shown by the Christians around me. Before you ask, I have read the Bible, 3 times. Also, I have studied what the Mormons teach the JW.

I saw a girl once with a t-shirt that had a picture of Jesus dead on the cross. He had the crown of thorns and everything and was dripping with blood. Under his spread arms were the words, "I love you this much." It made me think of a horror movie with some dead person coming at me trying to believe they are still alive. I definitely did not feel the love from that. Should people put more thought into religious depictions sometimes?

so say i was Christian. A Christian that has Agnostic thoughts and beliefs. Even some athiest beliefs (i'm pretty confused) <- hypothetical

I AM kind and i DO help others, i'm not very selfish, but i don't exactly go around saying, "God exists!" and stuff like that., i have NOT accepted Jesus as a God or savior or whatever.

So if i was a good person, that just didn't believe in God. Would i stil go to hell? Like we're talking Mother Theresa nice.
