The Bible doesn't say faith produces works. It says faith without works is dead. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. This faith is energizing and lives out the life of God in and through us issuing in man rising up do good works. The verse goes on to say, faith without works is dead. A living faith is manifested by good works.

FAITH which is defined as the "substance of things hoped 4 the evidence of things not seen" is what propells an individual 2 act (works). James says in James 2:20 that "faith without works is dead" and this in essence is true, as a person's faith is what instigate the works.

Living Faith ,which is always united to hope and love, always produces fruit. Living faith produces good works by grace the way an unbroken lightbulb produces light:only when its is in its light socket(hope) and only when the lamp is plugged in(love).

Actually faith is the catalyst which allows Christ Jesus to do His "Works" through us. We do not boast of these "Works" rather, we give all Praise and Glory to God Almighty for producing His "Works" in us. The "Works" we do apart from the Spirit of God are detestable to Him. The "Works" we do through Gods Spirit are pleasing to Him. Our "Works" are simply a spiritual barometer of our oneness with Christ Jesus.
Simply put: Faith through our belief in Christ Jesus as God Almighty saves us from the penalty of sin. Christ Jesus is to be given all the Glory for the "Works" we accomplish through His Spirit. God Bless You....Peace.

Yes. If you have faith, works will follow. Works do not save you but are evidence of being saved.

If you are speaking of mere "belief," no.

If you are speaking of the true meaning of faith... which is knowingness that comes from direct experience of that which is unseen... then the answer is yes.
