All religions I knew were: Christian, Catholic, Islam / Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu. and Jehova witnesses.
Can anyone mention the others and what they believe in?
Thanks.

Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians who understand the Scriptures to teach that God's Kingdom by Christ Jesus is a real government which will soon replace all earthly governments.
(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite

That Kingdom will rule over the vast majority of mankind, most of whom will have been raised from the dead after Armageddon.
(John 11:23,24) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”
(Acts 24:15) There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.

Until that resurrection, there is no suffering in "hell", or the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire

While a limitted number of humans will be resurrected to heaven to share in ruling over mankind, the vast majority (literally more than 99.9%) of Jehovah's Witnesses expect an EARTHLY hope, the same hope given to Adam and Eve.
(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree means never dying]

Interestingly, the Scriptures are full of references to this earthly hope.
(Psalms 37:11) 'the meek will possess the earth'
(Proverbs 2:21) 'upright will reside in the earth'
(Isaiah 45:18) 'God formed the earth to be inhabited'
(Matthew 5:5) 'the mild will inherit the earth'
(Revelation 21:3) The tent of God is with mankind

wicca is a pagan religion, they believe in the goddess and god and are earth based. they believe in the powers of mother nature, and the powers from within ones self. they follow the wiccan rede which has rules such as "an it harm none so mote it be" meaning do not do anything that may harm someone or something else. there is more information on the website above about a number of religions

wow, that is a very vast question, first there are hundreds of religions in the world but they all fall into two categories polytheism or monotheism. Polytheism is when you believe in more than one God/goddess monotheism is when you believe in just one God. Then there are many denominations that branch out from these, example Christianity has many denominations, baptist, Adventist, Pentecostal etc. then there are pagan religions which most often times base their beliefs around a Goddess or nature itself, like Wicca which is the most popular. then there's witchcraft and that has hundreds of denominations, Santeria, Alchemy etc. So you see that if you are really interested in learning about cultures and religion you might want to narrow down on what exactly it is that you want to know. Hope that helps.

There are a few paths of Buddhism but the biggest thing that separates us is that one path believes in deities and the other does not. I am in the latter group. The buddha is not a god but can light the path, however, he cannot intervene. I believe the same way about Jesus in the Gnostic gospels. These are my spiritual ancestors. I believe that I eliminate my own suffering by desiring to eliminate the suffering of others. It's complex but logical. Namaste and shanti............

Drizzt provided a good list as to what Mormons believe (the list, called "The Articles of Faith" by Mormons, was originally written by Church founder Joseph Smith as a basic introduction to Mormon beliefs after a newspaper reporter asked him what Mormons believe). Another good source is Mormon.org, which was set up by the Mormon Church to answer questions about what the Church believes.

i'm Wiccan. we don't think there's a "proper" or "incorrect" faith. the factor of religion is to not be proper-- do not think of of religion as technology or math; think of of it as poetry and track. there is not any very final answer; this is greater of a ability of expression. it somewhat is a few own relationship with the Gods that i've got self belief exist-- nevertheless i'm human and would't wrap my head around the theory of divinity. i won't be in a position to appreciate, i'm able to easily save on with what i think of. possibly Gods and Goddesses are exterior greater advantageous beings-- or in step with risk they're only areas of my very very own psyche (which does not lead them to any much less valid). What am I precisely to guess on? while i'm not claiming i understand the solutions-- or that there is an answer? this is approximately expressing your spirituality and your faith, and residing with the aid of particular tenets. you reside with the aid of them not because of the fact of a God yet in view which you think of they're a sturdy, efficient, healthful thank you to stay. you do not guess lives on something like that. and that i does not guess my youngster's existence on something because of the incontrovertible fact that must be only undeniable stupid.

You might read The Mists of Avalon to get an indepth understanding of Wicca, which was practiced for thousands of years before christianity. We believe everything is sacred: the Earth, all its creatures, all living things on this planet, the wind, rain, fire and air.

We believe women have great power. We learn how to tap into this power and use it for good.

This is a gross simplification for this venue. Google" Wicca and read more.
