OK, I asked if people felt lost not knowing what to believe. Simple. Not meant to be read into. If you know-then OMG< guess what? YOU KNOW! Thus, you will not feel lost. I am not here to challenge an Atheist, Agnostic, Christian, Muslim, Jew, Buddist, or anyone else! I even said it was not meant towards those who do not believe in god in any way! Look, if I offended you, get over it. It was a question by a person on the internet. Chill.

TO ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO GOT MAD AT HAS LOVED FOR HER Q: I am Christian, but if a believed in something else, I wouldn't have felt attacked by that question cause I wasn't always a Christian and say I can say now I once was "lost" before and know Christ! And if people want to question why people believed and if they feel lost they should without being harped on! You go girl!

That is the unfortunate thing about Internet correspondence, the cadence, intonation, and flow of speech is missing. But I must admit, most people would be better served to THINK before they fired off a question or comment. And use spell check for goodness sakes...It is RIGHT there and it is free.

And follow the axiom , "Say what you mean...and mean what you say!"

There will always be the mental midgets that twist anything and everything into a crudity or spurious slander/libel. Those I would simply save your time and just ignore.

I just read the question in question and it looks like you posted a vague, ambivalent question and then when people couldn't read your mind about what you "meant" to say you got increasing defensive and eventually downright rude.

Probably had you acknowledged the ambivalence of your question early on instead of blaming everyone else for not "getting it", then the unpleasantness could have been avoided (well, at least lessened).

Learn from it, move on, and I'm sure you'll have fewer such incidences in the future.

Unforunately there are people in this world that are negative people. You cannot control what people say, what people do and what people believe. You are agreeing to open yourself up to things that you may not want to hear by being on yahoo answers and asking questions. People are individually different and that is what makes yahoo answers so interesting. It is one thing to say I don't like what people say and then turn around and say "Get over it and then say chill"!!
Take things in stride and move on. This is the real world.

Religion is a very personal topic. People are bound to get testy. Try not to let it get to you too much. Sorry that happened to you, I have also asked questions that were not meant to be taken as an attack on anyone, and people took it personally.

You must be new here. And to the internet in general. Learn not to be offended by random people. And be more specific when you ask questions.

Yea, I just got flagged for an answer that I gave to a stupid question. It seems that some muslim got pissed at my answer concerning muhammad and suicide bombers.

I have found salvation in being a good person, and if some judgmental God doesn't like who I am, then that's just too bad for me I guess, but I'll be damned if I spend my life serving someone who needs nothing, when so many need something!

Sometimes I am over sensitive too. Sorry you were misunderstood.

I know exactly what I believe. I have thought about it a lot and my spirituality grew over the years. Am I right and others are wrong? I don't know that but I have no fear.
