Two weeks ago I posted what I thought was an innocuous question. It was "May I request help in creating an R&S community of Catholics and Episcopalians?" I got a good response. All the other groupings have a kind of community built up,even pagans. Why not us? Don't we have the same rights as anyone else? As far as my immediate motive,as I see it,when it comes to Christianity these fundamentalists have been permitted to dominate long enough; they hold themselves forth as the only "true" Christians; they represent themselves as the majority body of Christians; they presume to be the legitimate voice of all Christiandom,or even God Himself. I feel Catholics and mainstream Protestants need to become a stronger presence. Now,somebody - some group - obviously went to work on getting the question deleted, because that it was. There is no justification in terms of community guidelines. If there were,R&S would obviously break up these communities or cliques of atheists, pagans, fundies. Opinions?
