in one of the gnostic gospels, it shows jesus laughing at 'himself' on the cross.actually, he's laughing at judas because he managed to change the appearance of his betrayer to make him look like Jesus himself! the joke was on judas, and he got crucified instead! Great practical joke...cracked me up! So humour is also one of God's divine attributes! that's one argument for atheism struck off the register!

God observed all this corruption in the world, and he saw violence and depravity everywhere. So God said to Noah, "I have decided to destroy all living creatures, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. yes, I will wipe them from the face of the earth!" Genesis 6:11 - 13.

Are you in the "new ark" of safety - Jesus Christ - through faith in Him, His death & resurrection ? Will you be able to escape God's everlasting punishment when he once again judges the earth (this time by fire, 2 Peter 3:7) ?

"When the Son of Man returns, the world will be like the people were in Noah's day. In those days before the flood, the people enjoyed banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat and the flood came to destroy them all." Luke 17:26,27.

"Yes, it will be 'business as usual' right up to the hour when the Son of Man (Jesus) returns." Luke 17:30 (insert mine).

People, are you in the ark of Jesus Christ, who died to pay for your sins ?

First to all who believe in GOD creator of heaven and earth, I apologize if I have not shown GOD's love to the ones who deny him, I just know I am a sinner and I do not have patience for GOD haters, will work on it...

How do you deal with scoffers?
More people profess Christianity than any other religion. More than two billion people alive today say they believe Jesus Christ came to this earth as the Son of God to be crucified for the sins of the world..However, some modern writers and scholars are suggesting that these fundamental teachings of Christianity are only myths and fables

My screen has some dirt on it from years of use, but there is one dot in particular, that if I put my Avatar in the right place it looks like I'm wearing a dot like the Hindus. Is this a sign that Hinduism is the true religion and I should convert?

Fulton John Sheen (May 8, 1895—December 9, 1979) was an American archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church. He was Bishop of Rochester and American television's first preacher of note, hosting Life Is Worth Living in the early 1950s, first on the old DuMont Television Network and later on ABC, from 1951 to 1957. He later hosted the "Bishop Sheen Program" in syndication with a virtually identical format from 1961 to 1968; these later programs, many of which were taped in color, are still frequently rebroadcast today.

Care to share? I praise God daily for my change of heart. I realized that I could do nothing through Him unless my heart transformed into one that matched His. And though that is impossible because we are only human and He is God, that is something to be strived for. When we accept Christ, our transformation is one of the most outward signs.

to the days when gay meant happy ?

I honestly feel that when God created man and took his rib to create woman that it meant for A woman and Man to be one.. I have nothing against gays or lesbians if that's their thing then fine. But, what about the first chapter of the bible where it plainly states a man and woman to be one not Adam and Adam..

They criticise the Catholic chuch for veneration of icons and for confession, but if some hear you criticise the artificial creation of a 66biblecanon [by the catholic church] doctrine of the trinity [catholic church] eternal hellfire [catholic church] they go really mad! They can't have it both ways. Are they pro-or-anti-Catholic? how can they talk about 'fundamental doctrines' when they are just picking and choosing which Catholic elements they think are 'fundamental?'

btw i was also brought up 'protestant'

In Job 34:21 says Gods eyes are always upon us.
Seriously I find this a little creepy....ok actually downright disturbing. God watching us have sex or take a dump....just seems creepy to me.

"I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy." (Jer. 13:14) "Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not, but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling."

"The Lord is very pitiful and of tender mercy." (James 5:11)
"For his mercy endureth forever." (1 Chron. 16:34)
"The Lord is good to all, and his tender mercies are over all his works." (Ps. 145:9)
"God is love." (1 John 4:16)

and not to mention.....

"And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham." (Gen 22:1)

"Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man." (James 1:13)

and also.....

GAL 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

GAL 6:5 For every man shall bear his own burden.

The Bible is riddled with repetitions and contradictions
I find this entertaining, is this not suppose to be anything other than the absolute word of God?

Since I think most Christains agree that babies don't go to hell for not being baptized or understanding the gospel since their brains aren't developed yet, then at what age must one believe in Christ before it would be too late for them if they were die?

From what I can tell, the only difference seems to be who they worship (i.e. cults tend to worship an individual (the cult leader) whereas traditional religions defer to some sort of god).

My second question is, have you or anyone you know been baptized with the Holy Spirit BEFORE they were water baptized??

Technically speaking, they committed suicide. But in reality all they did was choose how they died. Also, what about the one who struck and killed a fireman on the ground? Did that make his act a sin?

Personally, I think they certainly should be allowed into the priesthood. The "men-only" status was a product of a men-dominated culture 2000 years ago, when women were often treated in a second-class manner, supposed to only be submissive to their husbands and make more Catholics. Much of this mindset is still embraced by the church (wedding vows, etc..). Women need to be treated equally by the church, but it seems that the male-dominated hierarchy wants to continue its "good-ol'-boy" mentality with regards to this important issue. The church is in dire need of priests and women have always been extremely active in church matters and activities. In my opinion, the time has come for a change.

1 Corinthians 11:26 says:

For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death TILL HE COME

IF the Lord returned in 1914, shouldn't the Supper be stopped?
___

Matthew 24:24-27,30 says:

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before.Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; BELIEVE IT NOT. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be......they shall SEE the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

If the bible clearly says His coming is visible, and not to believe anyone who tells you otherwise... why do you believe the Watchtower is correct that He returned in 1914? Especially given their many mistakes in the past?

If you don't have Jesus in your heart it means you're lost , then you need Jesus for salvation!

but many of you think you don't need Him!

that's sad, because you think you're o.k, but I know that you're not o.k, the problem is you can't see the truth!

One day i realized that i was lost! i Said o.k, I'm wrong,.. and that's when the cover over my eyes was taken away!

all you need to say is I'm wrong!

and i know it's pretty hard to accept that! because i know that many of you will say i'm o.k! pretty sad ha!
