I'm sure the person was just joking and could pretty much guess what it was. Maybe it would have been a good time to give your testimony. (You are suppost to have one ready to give). The very least it would have happened is that they won't go around telling people nice purse anymore.

Just tell them to leave you alone. It also helps if you have a label or some such on the front and side saying something like your name and holy bible.
