God observed all this corruption in the world, and he saw violence and depravity everywhere. So God said to Noah, "I have decided to destroy all living creatures, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. yes, I will wipe them from the face of the earth!" Genesis 6:11 - 13.

Are you in the "new ark" of safety - Jesus Christ - through faith in Him, His death & resurrection ? Will you be able to escape God's everlasting punishment when he once again judges the earth (this time by fire, 2 Peter 3:7) ?

"When the Son of Man returns, the world will be like the people were in Noah's day. In those days before the flood, the people enjoyed banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat and the flood came to destroy them all." Luke 17:26,27.

"Yes, it will be 'business as usual' right up to the hour when the Son of Man (Jesus) returns." Luke 17:30 (insert mine).

People, are you in the ark of Jesus Christ, who died to pay for your sins ?

Thank you for your reply.

Religion is a convenient scapegoat for society's ills.

Is religion responsible for every murder committed in the world ? Is it responsible for every instance of violence, theft, rape, child molestation ?

People will do harm to other's for a VARIETY of reasons. Religion is merely one type of fuel for the fire, so to speak.

The real problem is the sinfulness of mankind's heart.

"The human heart is most deceitful and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is ?" Jeremiah 17:9.

"For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard." Romans 3:23

BUT

"Yet now God in His gracious kindness declares (true Christians) not guilty. He has done this through Christ Jesus, who has freed us by taking away our sins. For God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and to satisfy God's anger against us. We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed His blood...

...sacrificing His life for us." Romans 3:24 & 25.

May God bless you, friend.

Thanks for this timely reminder about the suddenness and unexpectedness of Christ's return to earth. People will scoff (some of them are doing that with their answers): "In the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, 'Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation'." (2 Peter 3:3-4)

By flagging this matter up, you will leave some people without excuse should they die or the Lord return before they waken up to their need for Christ. But please God they will yet be convicted of their sin and repent.

Also, if you carefully follow the years and days given, go according to calendar, the Ark opened on the SAME calendar day that Christ Raised on!
NOT coincidence!

I'm supposed to believe that the infants and children and mothers and fathers and all the animals and plants somehow all deserved to die in the flood? I'm just not buying it on a moral level, but I'm also not buying it on a logical level. Of course, such an event (Noah collecting every "kind" of animal - and however you choose to interpret that) is not even physically possible and it really insults my intelligence to expect me to believe it.

That's the very same reason they thought the "end" was coming back in the first century... and the 2nd... and the 3rd... and the 4th.... and the 5th...

and the 12th.... and the 13th.... and the 14th.......

and the 18th....... and the 19th.......... and the 20th.... and now the 21st !!!

ugh.

i should report this as spam.

really now, when are you thieists going to stop spewing out gospel as if its absolute fact.

if i copy/pasted some stoff from the origin of species would that prove evolution is absolute fact? no.

so do us all a favor....stop quoting scripture. seriously. if you have something to say then simply say it....stop letting the idiotic words of an archaic book do it for you.

I thought you meant we all had to move to Newark, NJ. It's a lovely city, but I'd prefer to stay where I am.
I shan't trouble myself about your Jesus either.
