Yes, I have been and am. No details here, as I don't feel this site is the proper forum.
Second question - yes and again its me. I was 'baptized with the Holy Spirit' years before being water baptized.
There are so many mysteries with God.

The water and the preacher and all that is only symbolism. It doesn't actually do anything. The actual ceremony is totally meaningless. It is only done for the purpose of involving the church community. That is, the important part about it is that the person accepts the Holy Spirit, and that is not a visible thing... the things we do that are visible are done to foster a sense of community and mark the date when the baby was introduced to the people. In my church, we have changed the ceremony to more properly reflect that. The people know that the sacrament is one of community, and it's a great thing because we all get to see the new baby :)
Taking the spirit into your heart and living your life with God from that point on is the real baptism. All that other stuff is just smoke and mirrors.

You can feel the influence of the Holy Spirit, but cannot be "baptized" by the Holy Spirit until after you have been baptized by water. That is the proper order.

you're very enthuastic, however the Bible says you're incorrect. What different human beings say does not rely as you recommend yet while God says it you relatively might desire to take observe. All Christians are baptized by utilizing the Holy Spirit, because of the fact's what makes you a Christian. a million Cor 12:13 For by utilizing one Spirit we've been all baptized into one physique, no rely if Jews or Greeks, no rely if slaves or loose, and we've been all made to drink of one Spirit.

Yes, I have received the gift of the Holy Ghost at the age of 16 years old. It was manifested by my speaking in tongues as God gave the utterance. I was baptized first in the Name of Jesus Christ and then I received the Holy Ghost, but I do know of people who received the Holy Ghost first and then were baptized.

Every born-again believer is indwelt by the Holy Spirit, but not every believer is "controlled" by the Holy Spirit, and there is a distinct difference.
The ministries of the Holy Spirit can involve our feelings and emotions. At the same time, while the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives can include a “feeling,” we are not to base the assurance of our possession of the Holy Spirit on how we feel.

Jesus said , "Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit."
He was not talking about two separate baptisms here. Paul stated that there is ONE baptism. In the Sacrament of Baptism a person receives the Holy Spirit.
What most people state is "Baptism of the Holy Spirit" is actually a person receiving grace from God later in a person's life.

Yes. I went to the alter at church. I lifted my hands. I said, 'God please baptize me in your Holy Spirit'. I began to speak in tongues as I was moved by the Holy Spirit. I thought it to be non-sense at first. But I found that after simply accepting it as something that God had for me, I was OK. Now I pray in tongues as well as regular praying. It is something not to be abused or to be put on display it is a personal prayer language between you and God. It is an unknown tongue known only by God.

first off, the Holy Spirit is a "He", not an "it". I'm not a JW.
secondly "they shall be known by their fruits". you know it's an apple tree from far off. my apples are still budding though. changes such as the realization of my own wrong and hypocrisy, and new understandings of Scripture and acceptance of human beings are the most noticable changes in me.
yes I do. I kinda was. I did it twice to make sure. one before, one after, the second was more private though.
